  Pretty good! As someone who doesn’t eat seed oils I was stoked to find this place while in town. Pretty bc of fish & chips, not like mindblowingly good, but I love the quality of the ingredients so I’d go back! Also worth noting I got it to go so it’s probably better fresh there!

  The staff is so sweet and helpful. Very comfortable vibes in there. The food is incredible! Do yourself a favor and go get some. You deserve it. Not to be dramatic, but it’s some of the best food I have had since moving here. It lets me pretend I am in the UK for a few magical moments.

  After months of talking about trying Anchor Fish & Chips, we finally made the trip to Eagan, and it was absolutely worth it! The fish was done perfectly flaky and not greasy at all, the batter was light and crispy with just the right amount of crunch, and the fries were hot, golden, and delicious. Every bite lived up to the hype. What a great experience! We can’t wait until the food truck is back in our area so we can enjoy it again. If you’re a fan of fish & chips, I highly recommend giving Anchor Fish & Chips a try. You won’t be disappointed!

  I heard raving reviews about this place, so I decided to try it. I wasn't as pleased as I was hoping. Fish was unseasoned batter, and a bit greasy. The fries were a bit old and only a small portion. The music was nice but loud, there were way to many nets flying around. Due to the kitchen being at the front of the restaurant, the restaurant has a fishy smell. I feel like I need a refund. I had a better fish at McDonald's. The hours are nice. I'm sure it's a nice local business. Next time I'll try their grilled salmon if I return, but I will be rushing back.

  So I saw review about anchor fish and chips in Northeast Minneapolis I watched it and I was interested so I told my sweetie we're going to go eat and we went to Anchor Fish and Chips they had a menu posted with a lot of things up there my sweetie had shepherd's pie so you pay when you walk in the door and ask for your tip before you even get a chance to go sit down and eat because it's more of a bar then it is I guess maybe a restaurant? But I asked for a bottled water and she said no we just have it coming out of the tap which we were standing right next to but I was so distracted and didn't hear what she said because there was so many flies flying around my face and bar area including the little gnats or fruit flies you get from bar areas or pop spigots. So I'm torn between giving a full positive review the food was excellent I had a giant piece of Alaskan cod that was battered and fried perfectly with the chips of course which are fresh cut french fries and she had the shepherd's pie which was awesome she ate the whole dish but I was a little set off about the whole place in there is Painted Black the tables the walls the air ducts and the whole time I'm sitting there I'm being bothered by flies, the back door was open for some reason even with the air conditioner on and the Flies were just sort of there I mean it was like they were paying for dinner as well I mentioned as a joke that someone should go to Home Depot and get some fly strips as we were paying when we walked in and that just sort of went over the waitresses head I'm thinking she didn't acknowledge that I said it which is fine but like I said they didn't even have bottled water I had to have tap water and I really didn't want to because of the fly situation but I settled for the tap water and we ate our food and it was awesome and I give that a plus but I got to tell you they need to go to Home Depot and get some fly strips if they're going to have the back door open like that with the air conditioner on because the Flies don't belong we're paying customers and shouldn't happen to be bothered by flies and gnats and fruit flies anyways the food was awesome just didn't like the atmosphere
