This is a small local modern Mexican cuisine restaurant. The food was good and the service was excellent!

They did disclose they aren't serving alcohol currently before we were seated but we decided to try the place anyways. Staff was friendly and helpful, food came out on time and their flavors/sauces were really good. I did try the short rib burrito which is $33 BUT it was totally worth it. The meat was perfectly cooked, the rest of the flavors were great, and it could be shared because it's huge. Would go back!

Empanada - Too cheesy. Bread has phenomenal flaking but that’s about it. 5/10 Cinnamon fried calamari - What you expect except the fusion really isn’t that harmonious; would’ve been better without the cinnamon. Crunchy, unique, good breading/octopus. 5/10 Potato churros - Has good crunchy texture but greasy and better without the sauce that comes with it. I feel like it could’ve been improved if they used sweet potato instead. 5/10 Mushroom rigatoni - Noodles are big, mushrooms are flavorful that it masks the fungi umami as the hint of butter coats the tongue. Sauce adds to the dish by carrying the spices into your mouth. 7/10 Spaghetti fra diavolo- A more luxurious take on spaghetti & meatball but its shrimp substitute is a fumble. 6/10 Tagliatelle - The noodles are fun to eat but the meat doesn’t add much and it feels like canned food paired with an exquisite thin, long carbohydrate. 5/10 Orecchiete- Disappointing. The greens make my stomach green with how bitter it is. The meat tastes like it came from a school and the noodles are alright. 3/10 Tropical - I appreciate the metal straw but it lacks the punch of a fresh, fruity drink Service can take some time to wait for so be sure to order right away. Food is excruciating to wait for- appetizers are a must to stave off the boredom
