Cava is elite fast-casual Mediterranean and you need to try it. This store has only been open a couple weeks (first in MN) and is already running smoothly and better than other locations across the country. Met manager Ally (sp?) and she was very kind and friendly despite having ten other things going on. Great service, fantastic, fresh, healthy food. Check this place out if you haven't already.
Steph, Evan, and Aisha are phenomenal!!! Not only do they have excellent service but they do it with a wonderful attitude as well. They’re always so welcoming, attentive. and genuinely kind. They make my experience so much better and are truly amazing workers :)
Place is great, happy they opened their first location in mn. Looking forward to other openings. It does get really busy so factor that in plus with parking could be a bit difficult. There is a parking garage next to cava called Washington Ave but it is paid by hr. My cava order I had the steak + harissa chef curated bowl and it was good. Worth the wait in line? Probably not, but once the hype goes down I’ll definitely say this is worth it over chipotle or any other competitors near the area.

I really do love Cava, and I’m glad that it’s now in Minnesota. I had it on the first day, and unlike Sweetgreen and the noticeable difference in quality from the other times I’ve had it in other bigger cities, Cava was good. However, this is probably going to be relevant because the Stadium Village location is the only one open. I tried to go at 9:30 PM and on Google the hours say they are open till 10:00 PM I was turned away at the door when people were still in line, and the line was inside the doors. I understand having limited hours, but please post them on Google so people know…it’s frustrating to be turned away at the door.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ CAVA Minneapolis — Absolutely Worth the Wait!
Heading into to the new CAVA?? We stopped in on Saturday (9/26/26) evening, and WOW! The lines were literally out the door! ( Don’t worry it’s Covered waiting the whole way)—We got in line around 6:09 PM and finally had our food around 7:30. Yes, the wait was LONG, but honestly, it was worth every minute! And you have fresh shells coming from the door being opened and closed the whole time along with very friendly students in line waiting.
The food was AMAZING! Everything was fresh, the flavors were on point, and it tasted just as good as the CAVA locations I’ve visited in Maryland, DC, (the district), Chicago, and Austin, Texas.
The atmosphere is fantastic, the interior is beautiful, and there’s good seating if you want to dine in. (Not many doing this as the lines are running through the seating area) The staff was incredibly friendly, and the service was pretty good, especially considering this is a brand-new location with employees still getting into the swing of things. You can see things will speed up
When the new staff gets more comfortable,
My only advice? Be prepared for a wait, especially on a Saturday evening. But don’t let that discourage you!
If you’ve never experienced CAVA, you’re missing out. Definitely give it a try! I’m already looking forward to the other Minneapolis-area locations opening.Blain, Brooklyn park?
Great food, great atmosphere, friendly people, great restrooms (you need the code) and absolutely worth the wait!
