A favorite in Mankato! The food has always been excellent and there's a very large selection of dishes with different proteins, sauce/curry choices, and spice level. The food is ready pretty quickly if you're getting takeout, and when I've eaten at the restaurant, the servers have been attentive and helpful.
Would highly recommend!
One word: YUM!!
Their food is seriously so amazing, and the staff are truly incredible. I believe it’s family owned, and you can tell how much craft, care and pride they have for their restaurant. I’ve never once had any food complaints- and I dined here frequently when I would visit Mankato often. My family and I had also dined here for thanksgiving one year. I’m glad Mankato has a wonderful place such as this location!
Came to visit family and holy Moly, this place is fantastic. Best butter chicken I have had in months

We always enjoy the food from India Palace in Mankato. The flavors are delicious and the portions are generous. We normally get takeout and the staff is always friendly and helpful.

I'm sharing this because I have NEVER had a bad experience at India Palace. It is one of my favorite restaurants in the Mankato area, and I refer people there all the time.
Yesterday we got take out. I was shocked and disappointed by the quality of the order, specifically the paneer shahi korma, a dish I have gotten numerous times. Instead of the rich, creamy, fragrant and mildly hot sauce with chunks of sauteed paneer they usually serve, I received what can best be described as plain paneer chunks in a tomato juice-like sauce, no heat, no flavor, no creaminess, (I had ordered medium heat on the take-out order form). My daughter's order of mushroom chicken was very good, although light on the heat as well, as was the paneer pakora and naan.
I won't stop visiting, because I love this restaurant and the people who run it and make the food. It is truly a wonderful place. Maybe it was someone's off day in the kitchen...I can understand. But after 2 weeks of thinking about this food and then treating myself and my daughter, I was bummed. (insert sad face)
