- JMJulie Metcalf3 days ago1.0My girlfriend and I went to this dominoes on July 4th near closing to get a pizza and some bread bites. We decided to place a mobile order around 12:40 am so that it would be ready by the time we got there. Upon leaving the Delano carnival for the night, we hit unexpected traffic which put us arriving a little past 1 am, the closing time. So, because we already placed the order we decided to call and give a heads up. When the employee working answered the phone, he sounded extremely annoyed and was very rude. He was saying things like “I already didn’t want to make it when it came in because I was already closed but I did” and continuously sighing. First, we ordered the pizza well before closing so making it should not have been an issue. I have worked in food service so I know most people just want to get out early but the expectation with a closing shift is you close on time and clean after, not get annoyed when someone places an order while you’re still there. Second, I don’t know what he expected us to do. The pizza was made and ready and we even offered to let him leave it outside but he was still being so incredibly rude. The only plus of this situation is the pizza was delicious.
