I was at the fergus falls location and I got tacos, a kids meal and a side of queso and I asked for chips as they come with the kids meal and the girl at the front informed me that it would be a few minutes as they were cooking. Of course no problem, I will wait. I wait for a “few” minutes and then 8 minutes roll bye, I then see the chips that have been out of the fryer being prepped with salt and lime juice for about 5 minutes, in eye shot of the cashier be brought over to the station where they are to be bagged up. The cashier proceeds to check out two more customers when I am standing there a few feet from the register waiting. I thought surely she will go check for the chips as I have been waiting for 11 minutes now. Nope. She is in motion to start another check out so before she even started the ring up process I said excuse me can I get those chips and she says they aren’t ready and I said he brought them over already. She looks to verify that I was correct and then said give me one second so she could check out another customer and I said I have already given you a second and she then says well I’m with a customer. Am I not a paying customer that has been waiting for 13 minutes now for chips. Do I not get priority over the line of people that came after me? Makes no sense. Very disappointed in this interaction. My tacos were soggy from waiting, not like I could hav sat down and waited as there were no chairs available. I felt I was being gracious and that it was being taken advantage of. Worker needs more training or to be not in a non customer facing role.

I was really excited to get a chipotle in FF. For years, I’ve enjoyed Chipotle.
I’ve seen the company go downhill the last few years…from their cleanliness, smaller portions, and higher prices.
I was excited for a new one in town because I thought maybe they’d at least be cleaner and nicer than the older ones.
Nope. I’ve tried it twice now and it was always horrifically dirty. Food everywhere from the kitchen area to the customer eating areas. Not one clean table and nothings getting stocked in the drink area. It’s shocking!
I got a salad I picked up in the drive through and the bottom of my bag was soaked from spillage and my sauces were spilled out. They did nothing, like that was just normal. The other order was inside and I ordered some guacamole to go, and there was a literal guacamole handprint on the outside of the container. They don’t even wipe that off fast? And why are you using your hands in the gauc, gloves or not? Just hand it over and let the spillage go with the other days worth on the counter?
I actually started to research it and read that the company had a policy that the employees are not allowed to leave their food stations at all so they are not able to clean and prepare in a sanitary fashion.
If that’s the case, that is super terrible.
I don’t think I’ll be going again and I will not recommend it. It cost more than a sitdown restaurant and I’d rather go support one of our local establishments. Too bad to loose a customer they’ve had from the start. Just not worth it.
Not only was the food terrible, but there needs to be some serious training on food safety, watched the guy pulling tortillas go and refill the rice then accidentally dropped the divider between the hotel pans into the dirty, stagnant water in the base of the warming tray, pull it out with his gloves on AND IMMEDIATELY PROCEED TO MAKE BURRITOS WITH CONTAMINATED GLOVES ON. Luckily ours were done, but the food was terrible, the rice was old and hard, the pinto beans were like soft chalk, old. I went here a week or 2 ago, knowing they are new, it was great, this time I feel like I wasted money on food that was inedible, and now im wondering if it was better that I tossed it if they aren't following food safety protocols. This was on Tuesday the 12th at around 9pm.

I have to say- these employees were the nicest and friendliest chipotle workers I have ever interacted with! They did forget my cup of queso, and my quesadilla was made with all the fillings on the side, but I’m not even mad because they handled it so well!

Would not recommend Chipotle on lunch for work, I ordered my food 2 hours in advance for pickup and have been sitting in the drive-thru for 40 minutes and may not even make it back to work before patients start showing up. Everyone going inside is being served first. My food was like warm borderline cold by the time I got it. 45 minutes total spent waiting in drive-thru and can't eat lunch now.Crazy!
EDIT: Even though I had to refrigerate and eat it later, it was still amazing
