  The employees were super snippy and annoyed when I picked up my online order. They forgot the fries. The food was cold. Way to much onions on the hot dog. The burgers were soggy. It’s not hard to properly cook the food or make sure everything is in the bag.

  There are definitely disturbing elements to this businesses practices. I never received any food or service other than "Please hold!" and then it's the same old story, sat there for 25 minutes. Said "Hello" Into the speaker a couple different times and heard nothing. I decided to drive up to the window to try to get someone's attention and the windows are mirrored out. Interestingly, I had a doctor's appointment next door to the Sonic. I drove sixty seconds in a U turn from one parking lot into the adjacent doctor's office lot. When I got out of my car to go in for an appointment, the car behind me was at the window, getting its food. I am curious if they pick and choose who they're going to serve. All drive thru's have cameras. I would love to review the footage with the owner. Perhaps we can find out the actual cause and effect for the complete failure to offer me a transaction. I am guessing I will get a placateing advertisement of Sonics excellence.

  I was in Elk River for a swim meet, and so excited to swing by Sonic on my way home for a cherry limeade. I ordered that as well as a small fry to munch on. I was the third car in drive thru and had no problem waiting. What I received was not worth the wait. The fries were stone cold, not an ounce of warmth about them. The cherry limeade was icky and I poured it out on the road at a stoplight. The cherry tasted off and the limeade was rancid. It was such a letdown after being so excited for that cherry limeade. The girls working seemed a little disorganized. One of them had to ask me what my order was. Overall, juat not a great experience at the Elk River location. Will have to try one of the other Sonic's for that cherry limeade fix.

  I personally think this sonic needs all new team members and a manager. I ordered 2 large drinks on the app for mobile pickup. I waited 30 minutes at mobile pickup while someone else came after me and got their food and left. So I went to a speaker and the person said “it’s drive thru only” without letting me talk. I tried calling 3 times with no answer. So I go to the drive thru line of 10 cars and wait another 30+ minutes to get to the speaker. I tell them I have an online pickup that I’ve been waiting for (no apology or anything) I finally get to the window and they ask the name of the order again. I wait another 10 minutes for them to hand me 3 route 44 drinks. None of the drinks were what I ordered. I’m so disappointed because I can only go to sonic when I go to elk river because there isn’t one near me

  Let me start by saying I don't usually write reviews or complain. Today at Sonic in Elk River was TERRIBLE. The owners should be ashamed. After we were told we couldn't order at the drive-in side, we got in a line of 6 vehicles. We waited and waited. Car after car drove away without food. I would have too but I was kind of all ready committed. The car at the order screen drove off. I pulled up and actually got to order. After trying to order three times and having the screen go blank, I was going to pull up and complain. They came on again and it finally worked. Mind you, it has now been 40 min of waiting. The person at the window was grumpy and rude. I could hear young girls screaming inside playing around. Food finally came out. I checked before I pulled away. They missed items I ordered. I got attitude when I told them. Fries were cold and disgusting. Burgers thrown together with sauce all over. The owners of this place lost out on so many orders and now my business in the future. I don't expect 5-star food at a fastfood place, but for $39 It should be much better. Rude workers, nasty food, and the exterior needs some help.
