The butter cake came with 3 containers, 1 was an ice cream scoop, 1 was strawberries in strawberry syrup, 1 was dark (I thought chocolate sauce). Added the dark & strawberries to the cake, then smelled the dark stuff. It was NOT chocolate sauce, it was a balsamic vinegar sauce which was AWFUL & made me have to scrap a good chunk of the cake. Everything else was good but that was a definite negative oops. Busy kitchen though, so understandable. We've had way more positive experiences there than negative, & out of nearly a dozen experiences, this is the only snafoo where something became unpalatable.

I think a waiter should be a friendly, but quiet presence that fades into the background. In this case, his constant overdone commentary required us to give a forced chuckle each time he stopped by. I’d prefer to enjoy a meal and conversation with my family, with brief, passing interruptions from the waiter - not a verbal circus act. I appreciate the effort, but time to tone it down.
