  I had my Bachelor party here with a party of 5 people and we all had a blast! All day game pass along with entrees were a really sweet deal but what was even sweeter was the attentive service for our food and arcade needs. The manager really helped us sort out questions for bills and game cards. The arena was extremely fun and innovative . Our group walked out laughing and remembering the good times we shared together. 100% recommend. Try their cocktails!

  We went to Dave & Buster’s for my niece’s 19th birthday, and unfortunately, the entire experience was a huge disappointment from start to finish. What was supposed to be a fun birthday celebration turned into a frustrating and genuinely uncomfortable evening. Multiple things went wrong, the service was extremely poor, and it felt like nobody was really paying attention to what was happening at our table. My partner ordered two appetizers and a side Caesar salad. One of the appetizers was honestly gross and not something either of us enjoyed. Then, when she ordered the Caesar salad, they brought the wrong salad—not once, but twice. After trying to correct it, they eventually just brought her 2 salads, one of which had already been brought to a table…which was ridiculous and still didn’t resolve the issue. The most frustrating part is that I ended up paying for food that neither my partner nor I enjoyed in any way. Despite the poor service and all of the mistakes with the order, an automatic gratuity was also added to our bill. It was especially frustrating to see a gratuity added when our table was barely being attended to in the first place. On top of all of that, the draft beer system apparently hadn’t been working for quite some time. This wasn’t just an issue that came up that evening, it sounded like it had been an ongoing problem. It was yet another example of how poorly things seemed to be functioning. I understand that restaurants and entertainment venues can have off nights, but this was far beyond a minor inconvenience. When you’re spending money to celebrate someone’s birthday, you expect decent food, attentive service, and the basics to be handled. Unfortunately, we got none of that. Overall, it was a terrible experience, and based on this visit, I would not recommend Dave & Buster’s for a birthday celebration or really for a meal at all.

  My wife and I visited this location while on vacation with our granddaughter who is 7, our son and daughter in law. Our son was a regular at this location and always had a great experience there and that’s why we chose this location. We purchased the unlimited game package and thought, we can play all the games. Well not so much. You are limited to only play certain games and of the games we could play, about 1/2 of them were out of order. I went to the customer service desk and spoke to a manager and asked her why the games weren’t working. She rudely said we are having trouble with our network and they didn’t know how long it would take to fix. She said you can play other games if you want. Then she made a rude face at me and my wife, shrugged her shoulders and walked away. Absolutely no help or attempt to resolve this situation. She could have offered to refund the purchase price of the unlimited game package we bought, but nothing was done. My granddaughter was upset she couldn’t play the games she looked forward to playing. With this type of treatment from a manager I’ll never visit this location again. It could have been very easy to resolve this situation but no one cared about it. Other patrons complained about the same situation and not one employee did anything about it. They all walked away and ignored them as well. This location needs to bring back the values of customer service and retrain the staff on how to take care of their customers.

  It was our first time at the southdale Dave and Busters Manager T and Aubree were absolutely incredible! From the moment we walked in, T made us feel right at home with her warm, welcoming, and genuine hospitality. Her positive energy and attention to detail created such a memorable experience and made us feel truly valued. Aubree was also amazing! She was friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. Her professionalism, kindness, and enthusiasm added so much to the experience. Together, T and Aubree provided exceptional service and created an atmosphere that was inviting, comfortable, and enjoyable. Their dedication to making guests feel welcomed did not go unnoticed, and we truly appreciate the outstanding experience they provided! They deserve an award, recognition and so much more. Thank you for making our experience one to remember.

  I am extremely disappointed with the way I was treated during my recent visit to Dave & Buster’s for my nephew’s birthday. When I first walked in, I stood at the host stand waiting to be seated while several employees stood at the bar. They repeatedly looked at me, looked at each other, and continued talking instead of acknowledging me. I waited approximately 10–15 minutes before anyone finally came over. As someone with dwarfism, I couldn’t help but wonder if that played a role in how I was treated, and that feeling was incredibly upsetting. From the very beginning, the host, Tony, was rude and unfriendly. The first place she tried to seat me was at a very tall high-top table. I am 4’5”, and it would have been difficult for me to comfortably sit there, so I politely asked if we could have a booth instead. Instead of being understanding, she seemed annoyed. She then proceeded to seat the three of us in an oversized, very tall booth, despite knowing there were only three people in our party. It felt like my request for a more accessible seat was completely ignored. After seating us, she walked away without even giving us menus. Thankfully, another server, Collin, came over. He immediately noticed we didn’t have menus and seemed surprised that we had been left sitting there without them. He was kind, attentive, and helpful for the rest of our visit, and I truly appreciate the excellent customer service he provided. I’ve visited this Dave & Buster’s before and have never experienced anything like this. No one should feel ignored or made uncomfortable because of their disability. My nephew’s birthday should have been a fun celebration..not an experience that left me feeling embarrassed and unwelcome. Unfortunately, because of the way I was treated, I will never return to this location. It’s disappointing because I’ve had good experiences here in the past, but this visit completely changed my opinion. I sincerely hope management addresses this so no one else has to feel the way I did.
