  Took our daughter here after a basketball game. She loved the Fettuccine Alfredo with chicken and Tiramasu. Server was excellent. We hadn't been here in years but will be coming back again soon.

  I was brazenly told that each menu item was "family style" and would feed 2-3 people. My wife and I ordered two items(should feed 4-6), with the expectation of generous portions of food that would also act as our supper. But what we got was barely enough food for lunch. The pizza ($27) was the size of a large softball and burnt and the shrimp($28) was barely 3 spoonfuls. Needless to say we finished our lunch barely satisfied when we expected enough leftovers to feed us for the whole day. The waitress was very nice, but I don't now how they can justify these prices and portions. Rip off. Would not go again. Also they had the pope's severed head in a box in the middle of one of the large tables. So that's interesting I guess.

  I brought my family to eat here recently and it was a wonderful experience! The waitress is lovely and attentive, the decor is beautiful and elegant, and the food is delicious with very generous portions! This is the perfect spot to bring your family to enjoy a meal together and feel as if you are in another part of the world! We live 4 hours away from this gem, but we will most definitely return any time we come back to the area!

  buca used to be our go-to place for family celebrations when we wanted amazing family-style italian food. relocated new yorkers, we know good italian food. our server was amazing, attentive, and obviously doing his best, but there are some big problems with their kitchen and bar. it took almost a half hour to get our drink orders, which we placed right away. and one of our entrees was delayed nearly 30 minutes after we had received the other 3 entrees. so we were nearly done eating and then our other entree showed up (the kitchen obviously forgot to make it). the chicken limon was lukewarm at best, and tasted bland, tough and dry - like it had been under a heat lamp for waaayyyyy too long. the meatballs were almost flavorless and the calamari was undercooked. their food quality and flavor has gone way down over the past few years. we will look for a different italian restaurant for our future celebrations. it's unfortunate because the vibe of the restaurant and the service are so fun and eclectic.
