- LBLorrie BranumApr 15, 20261.02nd time we have tried this place. The first time was slim pickings on pizza, and the salad bar looked terrible. That was about a year ago. We decided to try again. Now I have to be honest here....I spent my youth adult years eating at the ORIGINAL Pizza Ranch in Hull IA. The original!. And many of them i the area. They are the gold standard. Today we tried again. The lettuce was brown. No potato wedges (the standard), the pizzas...well..as if was waiting my turn to get sone pizza, and employee came out with 2 boxes and took almost all of the pizza slices. All that was left was some green/black olives pizza (🤢) And some old looking thick crust something. So I ate some chicken. I asked about the pizza, was informed more was coming. Okay, a green pepper something, a pineapple something, a chicken ranch something....how about some sausage???? So I tried the thick crust something...yuck. So I ate another piece of chicken. I will never be back. This was an awful experience. I almost asked for our money back. We will stick with Sammy's pizza. Do better!!!
