    We’re not from here but we’re in Duluth for a birthday dinner. Stopped by after dinner for a quick dessert on our way home. There were four of us. One of us ordered a cherry dipped cone and we were told they can’t dip cones because it’s a health code violation! We regularly get these at other Dairy Queen restaurants near home. We asked why not, whether this was a new rule, etc. and the girl just shrugged and said “can’t do it, it’s a rule”. The other three of us ordered blizzards, and paid, then we were told that they were closing in 6 minutes, so we’d have to take it to go. I wish she had told us this before ordering. The blizzards were so runny we could’ve drank them through a straw. The whole experience was very disappointing.

    Been going to this location since it was new! Food has always been good, as I recall. Drive thru has gotten ridiculously slow since 2020...but I'm patient...sometimes.

    I ended up purchasing a chocolate brownie ice cream cake from Dairy Queen. When we cut into it there was barely any fudge or chocolate cookie crumbles in the middle of the chocolate ice cream layers. You could not see that layer at all. I had my whole family ask where the fudge and cookie center was. I paid $46.00 for just chocolate ice cream. What a disappointment!!! What a waste of money!!! If your cakes are that expensive, you better start making them with what is said on the side of the cake container and not go chintzy.
