  We were there on a not so busy Friday night. We waited forever for our meal and I got the pan seared walleye and what I got was a limp barely warm piece of fish (no sear to be found) and cold broccolini. My husband got the fried fish and there was no crisp to it at all. The waitress didn’t know about the higher end alcohol offered and I asked for a specific well known brand and she said if it’s not on the alcohol list they don’t have it. Turns out there was a second side that we didn’t see and it wasn’t there- but we saved a lot by not seeing that. Poor quality food, service was meh. We won’t be back

  Awesome atmosphere - incredible service with food thats beyond compare. I was excited about the handmade onion rings and they did not disappoint. Thick and tasty. The rooster chicken sandwich is the best I've had anywhere in America and dessert was awesome. Creme brulee. I mention the onion rings - which typically is a low brow sort of affair but not here. Menu has light and affordable or big and fancy. It's a super nice place so dress nice and take someone you love.

  The atmosphere is cozy but elegant, with natural textures like wood and leather and expansive views of the beautiful Detroit Lake. The service is warm, friendly, and polite, and they give you time to savor each course. The food is high quality and expertly prepared. Everything is absolutely perfect. I will be back again and again for special events!
