  We were driving through Detroit lakes on the way home and stopped in here for lunch. There is ample parking and great lake views/outdoor seating options. We decided to sit at the bar and tried their beer selection. The pickle beer was a fun change from the normal selections you see. Service at the bar was quick and attentive. For food we each got sandwiches and fries, both were very tasty and came out quickly. There was a nice buzz in the place without being overly loud/crowded. This seems like a great place to come by boat for a lake lunch/dinner - or a great bar to spend some time at if you are in the area.

  This place is a gem. We had Mothers Day lunch and lucked out with a table facing the lake even with seat yourself service. Our server Britta was efficient and friendly, the food was really good and reasonably priced. I would go back if we lived closer.

  Great service and staff. Food was hot fresh and tasty. Atmosphere was fun. Right on the lake. An absolute must visit when in town.

  We're at a gun show not to far from Lakeside Tavern &Brewery . When we are at a show we pick a place for lunch. The food was good, but 4.50 for a soda was a little high. Should have had a 🍺. Service was great hats off to our server 👏. The lake view was good. It will look even better when they finish working on the grounds outside.

  It's beautiful here. The atmosphere is good. The only thing is I ordered a long island from the bar with a water and my food. The appetizer and it was a date. That's all. A date. This drink was so strong I barley got 4 sips down before I'm legitimately using my straw and my dates straw to put more coke into it. Like the soda pop oh my goodness. The vessel chosen was too small for that type of drink what the actual flick. No. It's undrinkable serious. So seriously I have photos of the place, food and drinks everything. But, understand that The drink is left on the table only for real understanding that it was that strong I could not do anything about it. I tried adding soda. Nope then I just dipped water. Ate. Enjoying the date and left. We're only tourists on a date. Keeping in mind that at the time I wasn't going to be making a review. I don't have to do this and I don't have to share anything respectfully. However this one drink Flick no. Get it together or I don't have to come back It was hard enough following the construction and we only ended up there because the restaurant we chose. Closed and recommended this establishment to us. They didn't have to. Hey they chose to get together and discuss this because we were going to have dinner and drinks. They closed their kitchen and explained that the construction thing is an issue and recommended this place. Not bad just the drinks that's why we never ordered more than we did and we left immediately after and took our photos and left back to where we are located even. It was a planned date night.
