Don’t get takeout from here …. The naan was burnt and literally TOUGH to chew. I had to rip it apart like a piece of meat. The curry was supposed to be mild and clearly was not. I couldn’t even get through the whole thing — it mostly was just heat and no flavor. Very disappointing. Will have to find another neighborhood spot.

I just bought biryani from a different telugu named restaurant, I can say yours is 100% better and best than what they gave for me.
The food here is definitely not worth the price. The portions are incredibly small for what you pay. To make matters worse, the chutney and sambar served with the masala dosa tasted old and stale.
They also charge you extra for sambar without informing you upfront—when you order a dosa, it is supposed to come with sambar! If they are going to charge extra for it, they NEED to show it on the board. You are much better off skipping this place and eating inside a proper sit-down restaurant somewhere else, but not at this South Indian joint
Ordered 4 mild dishes and all were very spicy, even for the 1 person in our group that likes spice. Red chilies were cooked in the lentils. The chicken drummies were odd looking and nothing like the picture when ordering (both pictures attached). Given the spice-level, we weren't able to eat it much but what we did try tasted kind of stale/old. Papadum also tasted off, like almost fishy and the sauces for it tasted bad/old. Rice was over cooked.
Food wasn't ready at time stated when ordered and there were people taking calls on speaker in the dinning area, swearing, dropping f-bombs, and talking about when they'd get money.
Thought we'd give them a shot but won't be back.
It’s named Dosa, after our traditional South Indian dish, and they butchered it.
The service was a nightmare & the guy took forever to ready our table. I never saw him wearing gloves while cleaning tables. He took our order and then brought our food with same hands, no gloves, yuck. There wasn’t a lot of crowd yet they messed up our and others order so many times.
We ordered a mysore masala dosa and a ghee dosa along with chicken 65. The mysore masala dosa was bland af. No salt, no spices. Masala should be removed from the name. Ghee roast dosa was decent but nothing exceptional for namesake restaurant. Chicken 65 was terrible - the batter/coating was observably raw. We had to return it.
The service was atrocious. They brought someone else’s orders not once not twice but 3 different times. Funny thing - they got another mysore masala dosa to our table - we refused saying we already got ours , they took it to another table just behind us, called it Benni Dosa. The couple asked if this is Bennie dosa, the server said yes. Then they tasted it, and called them again returning it , furious that the server lied. They said they are south India native, and know what benni dosa looks like. They were pretty angry that server tried to not only dodge but outright lie on their face.
When i returned the chicken 65 complaining about raw food, he didn’t properly acknowledge it, let alone apologize for. Then second person who came for our check had added it to our bill. I told them to get their affairs in order, as I had already returned the item since it was raw. He never apologized either for food or their terrible service.
Final rating:
Food - 2/10
Service - 0/10
Ambiance/Hygeine - 4/10
I won’t be returning.
