Would have brought my food back if they weren't closed. 1st off I did bring it back. My side of rice for $4.95 was a 2oz condiment cup instead of a side of rice and the beans were all juice with maybe 20 beans. So they added to the beans and have me a side of rice. I ordered their enchiladas which overwhelmingly smelled and tasted of purple onion. Couldn't taste much else. The beans have cut up hot dogs and some kind of thin sliced lunch meat in them. I hate hot dogs. I've never gone to any restaurant that serves any kind of beans with hot dogs!! Haven't tried the tres Leches cake yet but not getting my hopes up. Rice was good and flavorful. I spent $45.00 on crap to be served purple onion flavored supposed enchiladas and beans with hot dogs! Glad I know what real Mexican food taste like and where to get it back home in Texas! I should be given a refund. Don't waste your money better off to go to Taco Bell than to go here!

THIS NOT YOUR AVERAGE MEXICAN RESTAURANT. 10/11/2026 This is a higher upscale restaurant. It's not like your typical suburban Mexican restaurant where they all taste the same or even use the same ingredients. I was expecting a simple steak fajitas with some tortillas. You know the ones where you order and you have your simple pepper, thinly sliced steak, and maybe 2 or 3 tortillas. This was not it. On first impression it appeared to be more of a fine dining atmosphere with a front bar on the entrance. Not too many tvs. Very personal close setting with plates and cups on each table. It was fairly busy! It is a little more pricey but you pay for what you get and for the fajitias, they whole steak cut up on strips over a bed of fresh fajitas. This is a new place and they seem to be taking it very seriously in Bloomington! The guac was fresh, the peppers was fresh, they included a whole half lemon instead of some lime wedges. Everything tasted very fresh and didnt taste like it was reheated in a microwave. The staff seems to be adjusting to something new and I did get approached multiple times about my order and I did have to wait however the food is really worth it. The front patio was a great touch. Will definitely go back!

The food is a stepped up Mexican experience with a nice variety yet not an overwhelming selection. The menu includes dressed up versions of typical American options (Ramen, pasta, mexican buffalo wings, and burgers)that allow for groups who aren't all into Mexican cuisine. Note: the menu has well documented ingredients and the staff are well versed in answering questions about the menu. Service was pleasant attentive, and excited. Atmosphere was bright and engaging. To top it off, they have a splendid variety of up scale Mexican desserts.
