Did not eat. Was attending a reunion. Easy to get to, good service, and both indoor and outdoor seating.

Fish and chips are amazing, big portions, great view of the lake and awesome music from a live band. What else could you want.

The best way to spend a perfect Saturday afternoon/evening by the lake in Minnesota. A cool breeze, fun patio atmosphere, and fantastic food. The wait staff is attentive and very kind. Live music began at 6. Again, a perfect summer day in beautiful Alexandria, MN!

Food was tasty, but service was dismal!! After taking our order and bringing drinks, the waitress Mia was MIA. Somebody else plopped the food down on the table with no silverware, no napkins, no do you need anything. We’re both sitting here with empty beer glasses no silverware, no napkins and no waitress to be found and never comes through the area looking our way. Never checks on us. Finally had to go stock a bartender to find the waitress. I don’t know if this place is improperly staffed or what, but you know it would be really good with good food. Something to wash it down with! Finally found her, didn’t get apology when I told her we’ve been sitting over with our food, no silverware, no napkins and no drinks. Just said yes to the refilling our glasses. Even the time to get the beer was kind of long, 2/3 of our food was long finished before we even had anything to drink, that’s with lots of pausing, waiting for the drinks to show up. At the end when bringing the check, she finally did apologize and took one of the desserts off but at that point kind of too little too late. Maybe it isn’t her fault and she’s spread too thin staff wise. She says she’s really busy but this establishment needs to get their stuff together. Should’ve been a fun evening, good food, kind of ruined the whole vibe with such subpar service when you can’t even washed on your food with something to drink we have to wait so long that it’s cold. This place needs to get their staffing fixed, but I don’t think I’ll be back.

I'm not mad, just disappointed. This could have been a nice place with food that showcased the local area. Instead, it felt like every other mid-priced restaurant with the same frozen food from any other mass-market supplier. The walleye and skirt steak we ordered were obviously frozen. Both were incredibly tough and chewy. Some of the meal was bland, and some of it was incredibly salty. The drinks, while decent, were too warm. Overall, this restaurant just seemed to lack all sense of passion or place. The view and atmosphere were incredible, I just wish the food was even half as good. It's clear the owners are just looking to extract as much profit as possible rather than providing people with a pleasant, unique dining experience. Tastes like late-stage capitalism.
