Very excited to see this southern staple above the Mason-Dixon Line. However, taken out of its southern roots this restaurant falls flat. The apathetic service, which is charming in the south, loses all its novelty. They also committed the cardinal sin of Iced Tea with NO ICE! I was overcome with the vapors when I saw that monstrosity cross the drive thru window. The Bo-berry biscuits lacked that certain southern comfort as well. Overall, a subpar showing for a Carolina established brand.

Went to Bo jangles for the first time and let me say I was not disappointed! Crispy chicken tenders delicious! Fries fresh and delicious! Macaroni and cheese lovely! Service Outstanding! Staff was so friendly! Food was out super fast! Will definitely be returning! Nakia a employee super friendly great personality great customer service ! If you were having a bad day you wouldn't be after her! I hope she never changes and stays upbeat and positive because you never know what someone is going thru and this human being is a positive angel!
I was curious about the new fast food place, and I don’t think I’ve seen Bojangles in Michigan before, so I stopped in for a quick bite. I got the 3 tender combo with mac and cheese. The unsweetened tea was okay, but weaker than I expected. The place itself was nothing special and a bit cramped. The food was decent, and I enjoyed it. The chicken was just short of crispy, but the unique dipping sauce made up for it with a wallop of flavor. The mac and cheese was possibly the best I’ve ever had from a fast food place, and it had plenty of cheesiness. The biscuit was good while warm, but quickly lost its appeal once it cooled. Overall, I thought it was a decent fast food meal, and it was less of a letdown than some other spots.
Left a nice impression overall at Beljangis. The biscuits and gravy are definitely the highlight fresh biscuits being made right in front of you behind the glass really sets them apart. The eggs are decent, kind of like classic school-style eggs, so I’d recommend adding a little salt and pepper to bring them out. The hash brown bites are solid too nothing crazy, but they get the job done. Overall, a good spot, especially if you’re going for those fresh biscuits.
Who closes their lobby at 7:00 on a Saturday night?
Who forgot to at least post a notice on the door saying so?
Whose manager yells (Yes. YELLS!) at a couple for being let into the lobby (I did that), commanding them to use the drive-thru instead?
Whose staff is overheard complaining about extra help and wanting to clock out early?
All of this: THREE MONTHS AFTER OPENING?!
Forget the food. This is inexcusable.
Hurts to say as a Bojangles fan: You’re better off trying this chain or getting your fix in a different state. THAT is how bad this was.
