Having visited with high expectations based on previous glowing reviews, I unfortunately left quite disappointed. While the establishment shows some potential, the execution across multiple dishes fell short, and the operational efficiency needs significant improvement.
The Food
The Bowls: We ordered both the falafel and chicken rice bowls. The rice itself was well-cooked and flavorful, but the bowls were completely drenched in sauce, which entirely overpowered the underlying ingredients. Furthermore, the texture of the chicken was highly questionable and difficult to identify as actual poultry.
The Wings: A tale of two sizes. The smaller wings were decent with a bit of flavor, but the larger wings were completely unseasoned—lacking even basic salt, pepper, or the expected lemon pepper. To make matters worse, the skin on the larger wings was incredibly tough and rubbery.
Burgers & Gyros: The Flame Smash Burger was just okay. The meat gyro was also average; while it was heavily loaded with meat, it severely lacked a proper balance of fresh vegetables.
Service & Value
The wait times were a major issue. An initially quoted 30-minute wait turned into a full hour. Given the fast-casual nature of the food, this is a significant bottleneck. Additionally, the pricing felt incredibly steep and simply did not match the quality or speed of the food provided.
Final Verdict
If you are looking for authentic, traditional Middle Eastern style fast food, this is likely not the place for you. It isn't my cup of tea, though it might appeal to those who prefer heavily sauced, Americanized fusion options. Between the long wait times, mismatched flavors, and high prices, I likely won't be returning.
