Secondly, the bun was awful and completely soggy. The burger looked nothing like what I ordered based on the photo. More than half of the listed ingredients were missing. The picture showed pickles, tomato, onion, and lettuce, but in reality we received just a bun, a bad-quality patty, and a small piece of cheese. There wasn’t even any sauce. And this wasn’t just one burger — it was two. Both burgers were completely different from what was described on the menu.

Serving peanuts for free began as a way for people to pass the time while they waited for us to cook up their meals (way back in the day, before smartphones). It was such a hit, and has become such a Five Guys tradition, that we keep our stores stocked with peanuts to this day.
