- SCSaleha Chowdhury1 day ago1.0I am extremely disappointed and honestly disgusted by the customer service I received at this Dunkin’ earlier this morning. I am currently pregnant and stopped by before my doctor’s appointment to grab breakfast. I clearly ordered a double-toasted bagel with butter, double-toasted hash browns, and an iced matcha latte. Instead, I received a bagel covered in cream cheese when I specifically asked for butter, along with soggy hash browns that were nowhere near double-toasted. Mistakes happen. I understand that. BUT THE WAY I WAS TREATED BY AN EMPLOYEE NAMED SHINDHU WAS ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE. When I brought the incorrect order to her attention, instead of apologizing or attempting to fix the mistake, she responded with, “IT IS WHAT IT IS.” EXCUSE ME? WHAT KIND OF CUSTOMER SERVICE IS THAT? I paid for my food, and I expected to receive what I ordered. I should not have to deal with an employee’s nasty attitude just because I asked for my order to be corrected. When I questioned why she was being so rude, she became even more disrespectful, started yelling at me, and refused to give me her name when I asked. I had to deal with an unnecessary confrontation over a SIMPLE BREAKFAST ORDER. And let me make something clear: THIS IS NOT THE FIRST TIME I HAVE EXPERIENCED THIS KIND OF RUDE BEHAVIOR. This is exactly why I feel management needs to take this seriously instead of allowing customers to continue being treated this way. SHINDHU’S BEHAVIOR WAS UNPROFESSIONAL, DISRESPECTFUL, AND COMPLETELY UNCALLED FOR. Being busy or having a bad day does not give anyone the right to speak to paying customers like they are a burden. If you cannot handle a customer politely pointing out that their order is wrong, then you should not be treating customers this way. I am not asking for special treatment. I am asking for basic respect and the food I PAID FOR. I expect management to address this incident and take this complaint seriously. Customers should not have to dread interacting with an employee just to order breakfast. Management, please do better. The quality of customer service at this location needs serious attention.
