    Worst customer service of my life. Ordered a smoothie and flatbread for delivery through the tropical smoothie app since they advertise that as a feature. I waited an hour and a half recieving only an eta that passed 30 mins ago and still no food. So i called the store not upset but looking for answers on where my food was or when it would arrive. I was then told that after orders are made and picked up that the business no longer has any responsibility of them and they can’t help me. So I ordered food from their app and was better off ordering through doordash app since I would have gotten a refund or anything for the inconvience. Instead I got 0 food, 0 smoothie, and a frustrating call that left me with no refund or resolution or even option to reach out to anyone further. Not even a remake offer or anything. Just got told i’m out of luck. So please look at other options than prioritize customer satisfaction, they only care about getting the money from your order clearly based on this experience.

    I haven't been in store in a while due to previous issues. Today I ordered delivery and my acai bowl was melted almost completely and the fruit was not very fresh (mushy) and I didn't even get a spoon. Thankfully a worker in another area had a spoon I was able to clean and use, but dang I just wish the food was better at the very least. Adjusting to 3 star because the manager Heather was very nice and helped me resolve this problem.

    Food and smoothies were solid. No complaints there. Service was a different story. I had already ordered ahead. The app said it was ready when I walked in, but nothing was sitting out with the other pickup orders. They were still working on it. I stood at the register almost ten minutes before anyone even acknowledged I was there. When one of the girls finally asked, I gave the name and she told me they didn’t have an order for me. Another employee had to correct her and say “that’s the big order.” Then the first girl goes “oh yeah, it’s a big order…” Yeah. We know. We placed it. And the app already said it was done. Three of them were hustling around back there despite only two cars in the drive-thru and one other person waiting inside. The shirt on the employee’s back literally says “You’re on Tropic Time Now.” Turns out that’s not just a slogan. Island time is real, and you’re on it until somebody decides to acknowledge you exist. Good food if you’ve got the patience. If you actually want healthy food quickly, this might not be your spot.

    If they offer the “tip me” device at the drive thru, make sure to tip well. I’m not saying a basically undrinkable smoothie might be the consequence, it might be a coincidence. But not like all the previous visits.

    I wanted to give this location, a second chance after a previous disappointing visit, but unfortunately, this experience was even less welcoming. I ordered a Peanut Paradise Smoothie, and it was excellent—that's the reason I'm giving two stars instead of one. The food and drinks at Tropical Smoothie are consistently good and reasonably priced. Unfortunately, the customer service at this location didn't match the quality of the product. I was the only customer inside, and while there were several employees working, the staff seemed much more engaged in conversations with one another than with guests. When I asked a simple question about protein options, I left feeling like I was inconveniencing the employee rather than being helped. While I waited, several employees gathered near the kitchen entrance loudly discussing other staff members instead of focusing on customers. I also noticed a sign with a QR code advertising a free smoothie through the app, but only learned of the promotion and about the app by uncomfortably reading everything on the counter to not feel as awkward with the staff’s discussion. A quick mention of that while ordering would have made a much better customer experience. I genuinely enjoy Tropical Smoothie's menu, pricing, and smoothies, so I'll continue supporting the brand. I'll simply choose a different location in the future. I hope this location places more emphasis on making every customer feel welcome, because kindness and a simple personal connection can leave just as lasting an impression as the food.
