The service here is terrible every time. Even when it's slow, don't expect to see your waiter or to be checked on. The employees go out of their way to look busy and pretend that they don't see you. We didn't get drink refills and I never got to order more than one margarita because our waitress never came back. We were never checked on until she came to ask if we were ready to pay. This place is too expensive to be treated like an inconvenience every single time. Save the frustration and go somewhere else.
Not impressed especially for the price...
Food: It was fine, but not anything to write hope about in terms of flavors and stuff. It would have been 3-4 stars if it has been warm when it came out. Best thing I can say is the loaded potato queso was great!
Service: It was also fine. The young lady who served us was helpful, but interrupted our conversation multiple times just to ask if we needed anything else - to include asking how we were enjoying our "first few bites" when we clearly hadn't taken any bites yet...
Atmosphere: It was frankly just weird. Visually, it looked like a pretty cool day of the dead oriented Mexican restaurant. However, the music and personnel didn't match that at all. The music was an odd mix of new and old country music. The workers did not appear to have a uniform (or even any training for some).
Overall, I absolutely wouldn't go back. I'd rather go to Taco Bell than go back here. Very unimpressed.

LOVE this place, but imagine my huge disappointment as we were heading back home and was really looking forward to eating there on Sunday and they were closed!! 😔 This must be a new thing because we have gone many Sunday's for their delicious brunch items! Make sure you check hours!
Everything was great but the Codfather taco stole the show. I could eat a whole plate of the blackened cod!
Hi, I’d like to report an issue with your staff at the Traverse City location. There used to be a really good server I’d notice every-time. He was consistently working hard, being super friendly, ect. This server was amazing. I haven’t see him recently. THE PROBLEM: I’ve been denied service the last three times I’ve tried to go to your restaurant. I’m done trying to go if this is the reality. I came within an hour and a half of closing and was told you guys were done serving for the night. All I wanted after work was a margarita and a taco, I was by myself. The second time was with 2 people, again within 2 hours of closing, I was told the same thing. It consistency feels like the staff choose when they’d like to stop serving/working. This is extremely disappointing, you guys offer good food but it’s clouded by the unmanaged waitstaff you have working.
Last time I tried to go to your restaurant I had a group. I’m fully aware y’all don’t do reservations. We called beforehand asking if we would get denied or if that was ok to continue heading to the restaurant. I was prepared to go somewhere else because it was late but the lady on the phone said it was all good. When we arrived at 6:55 we were told it was an additional 30 to 40 minute wait when we had just called. This didn’t make any sense; They close at 8 and that leaves no time to serve us/get our order in a timely manner to the kitchen. I thought it was odd but we waited. Yet 30 minutes later they told us oh no we can’t serve you. The gentleman who told us 40 minute had a little smirk on his face. How the hell are you going to turn away guests that had been waiting for 30-40 minutes that you cannot serve them. They made us wait, in 95 degree weather under the assumption we’d be served. That was beyond absurd and I’ve never been treated like that before. I’ve had mistakes happen, “omg I’m so sorry we’re over packed and understaffed ”, no conversation like that happened, just a bad attitude from the staff acting confused saying “oh, we’re about to close”. There was no “sorry for issue”, nothing. If I was the owner I’d be pretty disappointed in my staff for treating customer like this consistently. Your recent reviews reflect the same issue of your staff choosing when they’d like to close.
And you still don’t have your patio seating out yet? Who’s running this place, they must not like business.
