  I was very excited to go for the first time I called for a carry out I got there famous lobster 🦞 roll I was thrilled when i ordered when i received it nothing like the pictures the roll was cold the lobster was cold and the bun underneath was soggy I’m sorry I thought the roll was supposed to be hot melted butter crispy bun😕😞 I also ordered a clam chowder taste was good but they also forgot to add any silverware to my order couldn’t eat it until I got home . Overall okay would I be back mmm maybe in the near future!

  Service was top notch. The worst part is deciding on what to get! Fried Cod is amazing. Lobster roll is incredible.

  Ordered delivery from Lost Sailor Fish & Gourmet and overall everything was prepared really well. We had the whitefish pâté and the cod and perch dinner. The breading on the fish was excellent — light, crispy, and cooked perfectly. The only thing I noticed was that the fish itself was very mild and almost tasted like water, so it could have used a little more seasoning or flavor. Nothing was bad at all, just a little bland for my taste. The quality and preparation were still very good, and I’d definitely try other items from the menu.

  It's rare when a lifetime of working with the best restaurants merges with the dream to own a place that brings what you've learned and love most to your community. Lost Sailor is that: the intersection of curiosity, discovery, determination, and a love for sharing the best with people who appreciate the journey it took to get there. I've read review after review about the best lobster roll, hamburger, fish and chips, and fresh market seafood - I agree, and have pictures of all of them from my multiple visits. But for this review, I wanted to highlight the owner, David Kraus. Behind all of this is a man with so much passion and precision that I'm happy to get lost in his world. I'm so happy I found Lost Sailor. Or even better, it found me.

  Truly everything that was missing in Detroit and beyond. A perfect lobster roll and without question the best fish and chips I’ve EVER had - and those are just my go-to’s. Every time I visit town I have some must have classic meals. Lost Sailor has been added to the top of the list. ***Classic Seafood Boil pictured. Ya, he does that too***
