I normally do not leave reviews, but after the way I was treated at this Chipotle location, I feel like I need to share my experience. I have visited this location multiple times, and unfortunately the customer service has consistently been poor. However, my most recent visit was by far the worst experience I have ever had at a Chipotle restaurant.
When I came in, I was told by the manager that I would not be served because they claimed I had made a mess. The problem is that I did not make any mess. Instead of asking questions, trying to understand the situation, or treating me with basic respect, the manager immediately made assumptions and refused service. Being accused of something I did not do was frustrating enough, but the way it was handled made the situation even worse.
Throughout the interaction, I felt completely disrespected. Rather than acting professionally and trying to resolve the issue, the manager seemed more interested in dismissing me. Customer service should involve listening to customers and treating them fairly, even when there is a disagreement. Unfortunately, that did not happen here.
What stood out the most was the overall attitude of the staff. While this situation was taking place, employees behind the counter appeared to be laughing and talking among themselves. Whether they were discussing the situation or not, it created an environment that felt unwelcoming and uncomfortable. As a customer, nobody wants to feel embarrassed, singled out, or mocked while simply trying to order food.
This experience was especially disappointing because the behavior seemed to reflect a larger problem with the culture at this location. In my experience, the staff are rarely friendly, and positive customer service is hard to find here. Basic things such as greeting customers, speaking respectfully, and handling concerns professionally should not be difficult. Instead, interactions often feel rushed, dismissive, or unfriendly.
I understand that restaurant employees deal with difficult situations and demanding customers every day, and I always try to be respectful when visiting businesses. That is exactly why this experience was so disappointing. I did not expect special treatment. I simply expected to be treated fairly and with respect. Being falsely accused, refused service, and made to feel unwelcome is not something any customer should experience.
I am leaving this review in the hope that management above the store level takes these concerns seriously. A manager should set the standard for professionalism and customer service, not contribute to a negative experience. Customers deserve to be treated with respect, and situations like this should be handled through communication rather than assumptions and accusations.
Based on my experiences, I cannot recommend this location. There are many places where customers are treated with courtesy and professionalism, and unfortunately this Chipotle has not provided that experience. I sincerely hope changes are made so that future customers do not have to go through what I experienced.
