Greetings, I'm a daily/regular Panera customer & have never had an issue until now, at the Shelby Twp location (manager Brandy). When ordering, cashier didn't any knowledge of several mix/match items & didn't ask for some help (probably trainee). At the soft drink area there was a very large amount of water/beverage on floor, with no warning sign(s) & quit slippery/hazardous. My sandwich was very lightly portioned turkey (half of it had nothing but lettuce or proteinless). They forgot to give me chips. So, if you're on a diet, this would be the location I'd recommend otherwise, goto another location. Thx & hope some training is in order. Joe

Music often is to loud, I come for the coffee and Internet. Not to dance haha. I don't think when they take my number they actually log me in or give credit for my visit. And still can't figure out why when I clearly ask for a croissant sandwich with sausage I always get a regular sandwich, go figure.

First of all, service here is horrible. Always takes forever and tables are dirty. Second, i had a horrible experience here today. I came in at 5pm to study with my friend. I wasnt hungry so i got a hot tea. They were out of hot water so i had to wait at the front counter for a staff member to help me. This young girl came out after waiting for 5 minutes and she said “oh i can fill that for you” and when i handed her my cup she looked at me weird. I was confused as to why she gave me a weird look. Then she comes back minutes later with my hot tea and proceeds to spill it all over my hand and down my arm. All she said was “oops im sorry”. I was very upset but i didnt want to cause a scene so i just said its fine. Do better training your staff or put your new people on dish in the back.

I was disappointed with the bagels I received today. Several of them were extremely thin and had very little of the soft, chewy interior that you would normally expect from a bagel. One of them was so thin it looked more like two pieces of crust than a full bagel. I’ve included a photo as an example. I usually enjoy Panera and know the quality is normally much better, which is why this stood out. I hope this feedback helps improve consistency because this was not the experience I was expecting.

I visited this Panera yesterday around 6:30 PM with my family, and honestly, it was one of the worst restaurant experiences I’ve had in a long time. The cashier who took our order was fine, but whoever was preparing and handing out the food clearly did not care. All four of us ordered soup, and it sat on the counter for what felt like forever while we waited for the rest of the order. We could literally see it sitting there getting colder and colder. If you know soup is ready first, maybe don’t let it sit out until it’s no longer hot. Then there was an issue with our side. We had requested a baguette instead of chips, and when we brought it up, the employee’s response was basically, “Well, it says chips.” Instead of trying to help, she acted annoyed that we even asked. We weren’t rude, we weren’t demanding, and we simply wanted the side we requested. The attitude was completely unnecessary. The real problem came when my mom started eating her chicken noodle soup. It was COLD. Not warm. Not lukewarm. Cold. At that point, it was obvious the soup had been sitting out for way too long. When I brought it back, expecting a replacement, I was told to go microwave it myself in the self-service area. Seriously? Why would I pay restaurant prices just to heat up my own food? The soup had barely been touched and should have been replaced immediately without question. The entire experience felt like we were inconveniencing the staff simply by asking for food that was hot and an order that was correct. We eat at Panera often and almost never complain, but this location was awful. Cold food, rude attitudes, and employees who seemed completely uninterested in providing even basic customer service. We left frustrated and disappointed, and unfortunately, we won’t be returning to this location anytime soon.
