- BEBrian EliasMay 11, 20261.0Dunkin’, this is exactly how you lose loyal customers. I stopped at the Dunkin’ on 14 Mile in Royal Oak and ordered a half regular, half decaf coffee. They told me they didn’t have decaf brewed right now. Fine. That happens. No issue there. So I politely said, “No problem, I have time. Can you make a fresh pot?” And they flat-out refused. Seriously? You’re a coffee company. I wasn’t asking for something outrageous. I wasn’t asking for a five-course meal. I asked for coffee… at Dunkin’. What’s frustrating is not that the decaf wasn’t ready. It’s the attitude of “we’re not willing to make it.” Since when is customer service about doing only what’s convenient? If the President of Dunkin’ knew stores were refusing to brew coffee for paying customers who are willing to wait, do you really think they’d say that represents the brand? Customers go to Dunkin’ because they expect speed AND service. I can deal with waiting. What I shouldn’t have to deal with is employees acting like making coffee is an inconvenience. No, I don’t need “free coffee for life.” But I also shouldn’t leave annoyed because a coffee shop refused to make coffee the way I asked. Do better, Dunkin’.

Proceed to show order details on app and workers still ask for order name.. eventually they find it sitting on the counter Workers were not friendly when I went inside trying to resolve the issue even though I provided order details
