The staff member was friendly and polite, but I believe the posted business hours were incorrect. She mentioned they opened at 2:00 PM, even though we had placed our online order at 1:00 PM and every source, including their website, listed the opening time as 1:00 PM.
Because of the confusion, it seemed like our order had to be prepared quickly when she arrived around 1:45 PM. Unfortunately, the jollof rice was a little undercooked.
I also felt the food was overpriced for the portion size and overall quality. One of the dishes cost $18 but was more like the size of a side dish. Our total came to about $80, and for that price, I expected larger portions and better execution.

Ordered a Jollof rice and Eba with stew. The chicken served was raw and frozen inside. They were kind enough to reheat it . Overall it was not a good experience

Okay, so the service was alright. Nice lady. However, it’s very loud in there. I had to wait outside until my partner came with the order because it was just a lot. Now onto the food. It’s a no. They microwave the food so it is not fresh. The egusi and fufu was awful. It tasted off and smelled like cow manure. I personally believe it was because the food wasn’t fresh and they microwaved it. My meat pie’s temperature was very inconsistent and the puff puff did not taste very good either. I’m not saying to avoid egusi, but if you are a first time taster of Nigerian cuisine, this is not the best place to start. Do not come here. For the fufu and egusi, meat pie, and puff puff, it was $30. Do you want to spend $30 on microwaved leftovers that have gone bad? Didn’t think so. Don’t do it.

We stopped late near closing and was greeted and seated immediately. I was bummed because they were out of fish but had chicken ,beef and goat. Food came out in good time presentation was very good. We found the egusi was very tasty. The Jollof rice spicy but nice. Chicken flavored and tender. The goat and beef left us wondering it was very hard to chew( so we abandoned it). The Jobo drink very very Good!. The conversation with attendant very enlightening very much enjoyed it. Overall great spot to stop in for real food from the mother land.
