Came here at 10:40 which I understand they are about to close but at the end of the day they get paid by hour. Indian guy was sitting at a table just on his phone and once we walked in sighed and slowly walked over to take our order just to tell us there are no sides available. Like sour cream cheese tomato’s corn lettuce nothing. As someone who has worked customer service before I understand he was mad because we came in right before they closed and he didn’t want to take anything from the back and restock it since he would then have to put it away again at 11 once they do close. Annoying since he gets paid BY THE HOUR I don’t care that you have to do work that my order pays you to do.
I am extremely disappointed with my experience today. My online order was 25 minutes late, even though it showed as "ready for pickup" for about 15 minutes before I actually received it.
When I asked the cashier what was going on, he responded with "sup." Is this really how employees are trained to speak to customers?
While I was waiting, I heard multiple other customers complaining because the restaurant was out of cheese, chicken, and guacamole. I then asked to speak with a manager, but no one came out.
When my food finally came out, I asked if the employee named Shea was the manager. As I was explaining my concerns, she simply walked away from me mid-conversation.
This is not how you treat the general public. Customers are the reason businesses exist, and we deserve to be treated with respect. I would have stayed to request a refund, but apparently walking away from a customer is considered acceptable here. This entire experience was unacceptable.

Dont go. Came in around 7:50 for a steak bowl, told me chicken would be ready in 5 minutes and steak in 25 so i waited. Then the chicken came out 20 minutes later but apparently it was honey chicken so i decided to wait and then asked when the food would be ready and they said they were cutting it in another 20 minutes, workers standing around doing nothing, at least 15 people walked out and its not the first time it happened to me, decided to walk out cause all the workers just standing around talking instead of telling all of the customers including me that the food wouldnt be ready any time soon 8:42 i left, wasted a good hour of my time. Walked out empty handed

“We’re All Digital” = “We can’t staff correctly”
This is by far and away the worst chipotle in the area.
Chad Cline’s Chipotles (Metro Detroit area) are typically very good, but this location is a bad apple. Shipman needs to get a grip on staffing. Potential to be excellent GM but never enough staff on line and usually there’s a line out the door unlike other locations nearby…
Cline if you need more information please reach out to me. Hopefully this location can get fixed. This location has been a nuisance to all Rochester Hills residents all decade simply due to staffing! If you ask anybody in this area, they have nothing but bad things to say about this location.
For crying out loud, i stuck it out in line one time while my buddy split and drove to the next closest location and he got his order and came back with it, and i was still in line!
Maybe bring in neighboring store restaurateur and have him teach Shipman how to properly staff and run the location.
Let me know if you need more information. Thanks

South Rochester Chipotle is honestly one of the worst Chipotle locations I’ve ever ordered from. I ordered a bowl to go today and selected the free extra cheese and extra veggies options, yet somehow the portion was even smaller than a regular bowl. It looked like they were just throwing everything together without putting any effort into it.
The food was ridiculously salty to the point that I couldn’t even finish it. I also selected the cilantro-lime sauce, but I could barely tell that it was even added. The protein portion was ridiculously small too.
What makes it even more frustrating is that other Chipotle locations are usually fine. It’s specifically this South Rochester location that consistently gives me a terrible experience. Every time I eat here, the food is disappointing, the portions are pathetic, and I leave feeling like I just wasted my money.
I saw a comment below saying that dog food would probably be better, and honestly, after eating this, I can’t even argue with that. 😂
