- LJLapree JacksonApr 27, 20261.0I am specifically referring to the Krispy Krunchy Chicken location inside the gas station near Beech Daly and I-96 in Redford. It is located at 25810 Schoolcraft, Redford Township, MI 48239. My first visit here was phenomenal, which is why I came back. The woman who helped me that day was attentive, pleasant, and provided excellent customer service. Unfortunately, every visit since then has been disappointing. I’ve returned about three times, and each time the chicken appeared to be sitting under warming lights for too long and was not fresh. When I politely asked if fresh chicken could be made, I was met with attitude instead of professionalism. My most recent visit was Sunday around 8:30–9:00 PM. The employee had his back turned while I waited patiently. When he finally turned around, there was no greeting or acknowledgment. He immediately pointed to the warming rack and said, “That’s the only chicken we have. We don’t have anything else.” That delivery was rude and dismissive. Customer service matters just as much as food quality. Fried chicken should be hot and fresh, and if the kitchen stops taking fresh orders at a certain time, that should be clearly posted online or in-store so customers know before making the trip. I live only two minutes away and wanted to support this nearby business, but after multiple negative experiences at this specific Redford location, I will not be returning.
