  Scalawags Petoskey is a welcome addition to their Mackinac City location. There is more rustic atmosphere in the Mackinac site but the Petoskey restaurant is super clean and wide open. The service and consistently great food brings us back again and again.

  Ordered take out. Ready in 10 min! Not overpriced like everywhere else. Best COD around, perfectly breaded and fried! Love, love, love it -I am addicted to Scalawags!

  We had lunch here and we were not disappointed. The white fish was delicious! A two-piece fish dinner included fries, 2 hushpuppies, and coleslaw. For me, it was more than filling. The restaurant was very clean and so were the restrooms.

  The shrimp was seriously some of the best I’ve ever had, and the onion rings were so good too, definitely a highlight! Only thing I’d say is the atmosphere is really quiet. Even with music on, you can barely hear it and it kind of feels like you have to whisper when you’re talking. Maybe just turning it up a little would help. Overall though, everything was great, thank you!

  First time here. Hubby and I both got the Whitefish Tacos. They were very good, but in my opinion there wasn’t enough fish for the tortilla. The prices were VERY reasonable, especially for Petoskey. We’ll definitely be back!!
