  Had a great time , loved Shim Bone performance, they play the best music , so professionally. Made it a wonderful evening.

  Very busy on weekends, VERY slow service. Good music, nice but crowded dance floor. Decided to give them a second chance, and came on a Tuesday, music promoted as starting at 6 pm, now 7 pm and no band. Not crowded, and service was still VERY slow, went to the bar to get drinks, got bourbon and water right away, but still took 30 minutes to get a glass of wine. Sad, had high expectations. Music was starting as we left at 7:10.

  If you're from the Clem you know the Rec. Personally for me and I'm a little biased (my grandfather built and co-owned the Rec) it was and still is a great place to have a great burger and a cold beer. The Rec has given me so many memories and good times whenever I get together with friends the Rec always becomes a topic of good times, funny things that happened there and how much so many of us remember it as part of our lives growing up. The Rec was always good times. Even now every time we visit the Rec there's someone from long ago in there or just stopping in for a beer saying hello to old friends and acquaintances. Yes the building has changed a bit, there's an outside bar and tables in the summer under the tent but what hasent changed is the atmosphere . Freddie has done a fantastic job keeping the Rec together for all to enjoy. The Rec is a Mt Clemens staple, ask anyone about the Rec and I'm sure you'll get a smile and positive feedback maybe a funny story or two. Im sure my grandfather is looking down from above with a smile. The Rec...it doesn't get any better in "The Clem".

  Bar and grill attached to a bowling alley. Limited menu., mostly only bar food. Prices are average. It had a live band and dancing. Music was oldies but goodies. Staff was efficient and attentive but not very friendly.
