- BGBennett GambleSep 5, 20263.0I took my partner on a date here for dinner. We came at a slow time when it was just us in the diner. The atmosphere was pretty good. We were greeted coming in and the weather + lots of windows made for nice visuals. They do keep it fairly cold inside, so I would recommend long sleeves or a flannel if visiting in the summer. The food was pretty good. I got a standard BLT and my partner got a veggie sandwich. I had no complaints with my food besides the portion size as other reviews have stated. My partner said their sandwich did not quite have evenly spaced ingredients and the bread was rather tough. Our food was about $40 in total including some teas from the fridge and after a 20% tip. I was not displeased at the price. Overall, I'd suggest this place for lunch, but perhaps not dinner. The food is fresh and tasty, and the location is nice for conversation.
