  After a 6 hour drive with our 18 month old toddler, and fast check in to our hotel, we were absolutely starving and worn out. Iron Bay was recommended to us, and wow were we not disappointed! Great location and we were sat immediately. Our appetizer came out incredibly fast and was delicious (Whitefish Tots), our cocktails were perfect. What really, really stood out was the service. The staff were so personable, it was literally like we were old friends. They were patient and fun with our very restless toddler, even giving him a toy to play with and take home! Courtney, our server, was beyond accommodating and pivoted without hesitation when we decided to take our food to go due to aforementioned toddler's restlessness. She was kind, friendly, had our bill to us to we were ready to go before our food came out, and thought of everything we needed without us having to ask. Thank you a thousand times and we can't wait to come back!

  Everything about Iron Bay is wonderful! Great food, nice servers, excellent normal and special seasonal cocktails, and they are food allergy friendly. Have never had a bad experience there. Try the bacon wrapped jalapeno poppers. Highly recommend this place!

  I hate giving reviews below a 5 but I have to be truthful and fair. I ordered the bacon blue cheese burger (pantry burger)and asked for extra blue cheese plus fries for my side. Fries were excellent however the burger bun was burnt black on both sides the burger was charred and not that meat crunch thats yummy the char that leaves black coal taste. Also I received no xtra cheese .People ask why dont you send it back well as being a cook for years I never sent out anything I wouldn't eat. The cook obviously saw how burnt it was yet sent it out. View was spectacular and decent service nice waiter but I had to ask twice for a refill and when you're eating burnt food you need a drink!! Food was a 1 everything else a 4 I actually gave it a 2.5 .

  Called short notice and we were just able to get in before the rush thanks to Jeff. We brought our rambunctious small boys and Brandon had us ordered up, fed, and out the door in 40min. Kids eat free as well!! :) Little one was fussing and they brought out small toys to keep him entertained. This was a perfectly brief and filling experience. Had the Lamby Sammy and I highly recommend. Great job yall, and thanks for your patience with my little ones.

  After visiting Presque Isle Park we came here for lunch. Having beautiful weather, we decided to eat outside. Right at a main road it was a bit noisy but we chose to sit there, so that was fine. Staff has been very friendly and while we waited for our food, they shared their favorite spots to visit after. The whitefish chowder soup was deliiicious and I highly recommend trying it. Everything else was good too!
