I went here with my family and it is safe to say that I will not be eating here ever again. I ordered the carne asada tacos and they did NOT look like carne asada. Carne asada literally means grilled steak. The steak was not grilled at all. It was grey and shredded and honestly it tasted like Arby’s roast beef. The prices were crazy high for the portions and taste of the food. My family and I will not be dining here again.

From what my friend, who is a return customer, this restaurant has gone downhill. No. There are no free chips and salsa. Instead you pay $5 for a basket of (delicious) chips BUT if you want to dip them in something you will pay another $3-6 for it which is absurd.
Our tiny $6 queso had to be sent back bc it wasn't hot. The $11 margaritas were very small (but good).
We had the taco trio which were fine (homemade corn tortillas were yummy but fillings were just ok).
Overall customer experience seems to be low on the list of priorities. I get that margins are slim but we ate at 1230p and we were one of two tables.
I only wish I had the experience the owner describes, you may have had a good review. Unfortunately the real experience was the following:
I had a terrible experience. One shrimp per taco, inattentive service, sauce on 15$ taco is $5 in a 2 oz dish... Avoid this place. Service was scarce at best. Ghost town. I thought it was a walk up self-service Cafe based on the failure to provide basic service.
Response from the owner reply:
Your response misses the point. We were guests who ordered three dinners and drinks. The concern was not that the salsa should have been served as “soup.” The issue was that we received a very small portion—approximately 2 ounces—while you claimed it was 5 ounces. It was handed to us with little explanation beyond, “That’s how we do it,” and came with no chips or anything else to accompany it.
We asked for hot sauce, but the server brought salsa, which is a different product. That distinction matters.
The menu should also clearly state that the shrimp in the tacos is minced or diced. When customers order a shrimp taco, they reasonably expect whole shrimp or clearly identifiable pieces, not a small amount of finely chopped shrimp.
The inattentive service, unclear ordering setup, portion sizes, and added charges were all part of our experience. Dismissing those concerns rather than addressing them is disappointing, and your denial of what occurred is especially surprising.
