  Food is good if you get what you ordered. Of all the drive thru orders that were placed, only 2 were correct! And don’t bother contacting corporate about the problem because they don’t do anything about it. Found much better fast food places in the Livonia area that gets the orders right.

  I cannot say enough good things about Portillo’s, but specifically the Livonia location. I had a large size party request and brought lots of people into the store on off hours (1-3pm) for a milestone birthday party. The team was more than accommodating, had amazing, fresh food, and made us feel so welcome. My family is from Chicago but lives in Michigan… so celebrating at our favorite Chicago spot right at home is more than a dream come true. Thank you to Chris, Katie, and the day crew team for making this day so memorable and special. No question we’ll be back… many times. Customer service and amazing food are alive and well at the Livonia Portillos!

  My only issue with this Portillo’s is that they don’t feel their fries up all the way I feel like if I’m ordering a regular or large fry, the fries should be filled up for the cup not halfway filled. It made me mad because I realized it when I got home and I regret not checking my bag because I would’ve made them put more fries in my cup because it was literally halfway full and I drove 30 minutes to come here to enjoy this food since it reminds me Of being back home in Chicago. The location in Sterling Heights never has this issue, but I shouldn’t have to drive an hour to get the same Portillo Just the proper serving size I’m supposed to get with my meal anyways . The cost of living is already expensive in the food prices have increased, so please do better and give consumers the proper amount of food they’re supposed to get with their order!

  Was in there 1 week ago. In the past all other visits have been fine. This time, the womens bathroom was dirty, the trash cans were overflowing and we were VERY disappointed in the taste of our Chicago dogs. It was as if a different type of hot dog was used. The only reason I gave 2 stars was because the coke, french fries and cheese sauce were all perfect. I wanted to complain about the hotdogs but my husband said not to.

  I was honestly pretty disappointed with my experience at Portillo’s in Livonia. I ordered the Italian Beef expecting something flavorful and worth the hype, but it ended up being surprisingly bland. The meat lacked seasoning, the sandwich overall tasted flat, and it just didn’t have that rich, savory flavor you’d expect from an Italian Beef. What made it more frustrating was the price. For how expensive the meal was, I expected much better quality and flavor. The portion size was decent, but taste matters more, and this just didn’t deliver. The staff and restaurant itself were fine, but the food definitely didn’t live up to the reputation or cost.
