  My Husband and I along with a few friends had dinner. The ambience was amazing and the food was great. Margo was our waitress nothing past amazing. Margo was very knowledgeable of the menu she helped us choose some great dishes. Before dinner was over Margo asked if we had joined the Landry’s Select Club well the answer was no so she suggested we join and explained the benefits of having it. My husband and I agreed we paid the required deposit and Margo gave us the card. We finished dinner my husband paid our bill and we left. The unimaginable happened we walked out without our club card. I called back to the restaurant explaining what happened they said no problem we will keep it in the safe until you return. Well that was approximately 9 months ago. We returned yesterday to inquire so the greeters at the door got the manager for us. Brenda asked how can she help us I explained why I was there. Brenda said she has several of them locked in safe. Brenda went to retrieve the cards came back and asked the last four digits of the credit card that was used . I gave it to her she verified and gave us our card. Brenda also explained how to activate the card and obtain our deposit that would be returned to the card upon registration. This was outstanding customer service and I had to share this information. By the way my husband and I as well as our friends are over the road truck drivers this is why it took so long for the return . We would highly recommend Mitchell for great food and superb service.

  I often come here for Mother’s Day and it’s usually an amazing experience, but this year was horrid. From the Mother’s Day special changing and not being explained. To drinks that were very small. Then to make matters worse the restaurant called me after I left to say my gift card didn’t cover my balance. However I did not use a gift card and the person had a whole different bill that she was trying to put me on the hook for. I received barely an apology with “oh I must have the wrong person”. I will definitely be finding a new place to spend Mother’s Day at.

  We decided to give Mitchell's another try after an underwhelming visit several months ago. We saw some good recent reviews. What a mistake! The hostess basically turned us away, unless we wanted a bar seat or half booth. We chose the half booth- one higher chair facing a booth. The server was ok though- she actually told us not to get several dishes that she had noticed customers returning- including the sea bass. We ordered the ginger crusted salmon with vegetables and potatoes. Salad and dessert too. The salads were ok- reason for the one star. The lettuce in my caesar salad was wet [at least I know it was washed]. I ordered my salmon well-done. When our food came- it did not look appealing. The vegetables and mashed potatoes were very cold. The salmon clearly was not cooked- super pink on the inside. I was not able to eat it, so I sent it back. The manager brought it back- they had set it under a broiler! The top was charred but the salmon was still not cooked. The manager said this was the first that a meal was returned. HA HA- we saw several tables return their meals [plus what our server warned us about] and we heard they were too cold and not cooked enough. The other order was halibut with cold sides. He only ate a few bites of the fish and had quite the stomachache afterwards. Hmmm what's going on in the kitchen? We will never return to Mitchell's.

  It is such a huge difference dining here versus the Mitchell’s in Rochester hills. Everything was delicious. We enjoyed Lobster bisque and clam chowder. Stuffed salmon, fried shrimp and crab legs. Their steak was just ok. I went to their other location and they gave me scraps from the snow crab. Needless to say I travel 45mins away to specifically come to this location. We also had dessert which was delicious. Server was ok she seemed a bit shy and kept forgetting things we requested.

  Came here for my Mother's birthday. Nice atmosphere. Pretty good service and food was good. I had cod with mashed potatoes and veggies. Piece of fish could have been larger portion, but it was cooked well and moist. Loved the fresh vegetables. Also had clam chowder. Too thick for my preference. Sister enjoyed her fish and chips. I tried the cole slaw. Tasty and fresh. All in all, we enjoyed our visit.
