  First impression was good. Stopped in for lunch. Good service, friendly staff. I tried the Banghan Bahaar. It was very good. Their chicken 65 is a little different than I am used to but it was tasty. Nice job on the renovations. I will be going back.

  I went there for a dinner and observed clean environment, clean bathrooms and great staff. While it comes to food, I would say chef knows exactly what he is doing. Fresh food. No stored food served like percis and other Indian restraints in that area.

  Don’t let the outside fool you. Inside is modern, fresh and cozy. Our servers were very attentive and we were able to customize our order without fuss. Both of our lunch dishes started with a perfectly dressed salad. The entries were authentic and spiced to our individual tastes. Very yummy with white rice and naan bread. Hot chai added to our scrumptious, filling meal.

  Is it more important for a restaurant to look amazing or to have amazing food? Well, you no longer have to pick between the two because this place has BOTH. I ate here for the first time and was really blown away, the atmosphere is very upscale in a very polished interior, with so many seating options. The food was so tasty, we ordered the North Indian curry with chicken with butter naan and I can easily say this is the best Indian restaurant in Michigan, and we have been to many of them. We will definitely be recommending this to friends and family, and returning again soon!

  My wife and I have lived in Lansing for 4 years. Other than a local pub 5 minutes down the road, we have eaten at Grains or gotten take out more than any other restaurant in town AND WE ONLY DISCOVERED IT LESS THAN A YEAR AGO. It is excellent every time REGARDLESS of take out or sit down (though highly recommend the sit down experience). The spice level is always perfect and I've ordered something different every time, never disappointed. Coming from Denver, Colorado before Lansing, we missed a variety of good cuisines. Grains is all we need. Highly recommend!
