Had a fantastic dinner here tonight. I tried the Turkish tea, grape leaves, cheese pastry, manti and baklava. Everything was tasty and homemade, and the grape leaves were genuinely the best I’ve ever had—tender and savory with a cool dipping sauce. Looking forward to coming here again.

This was such a delightful surprise! I have never tried Turkish food of any kind, but WOW somebody puts some serious love into this food! I had never heard of any of the dishes, but since its my birthday, and I have always wondered about this place, i got a bit of an assortment plus the walnut baklava (sp?) and it is all to die for!! Just WOW. 🤤 This food feels & tastes like eating at your Grandmother's house - if your Grandmother was both an amazing cook & alsoTurkish. 😂 Give them a try! You will NOT be disappointed either. :)

Service was fast and friendly, more than happy to answer any questions about the menu. I came on a Sunday afternoon and there were only a few other patrons inside. Turkish coffee was exquisite friendly reminder not to drink it to the bottom bits. My beef doner sandwich was sensational the bread was pillowy soft and firm on the bottom. If I lived closer I'd be here probably once a week.
I was really craving homemade Turkish food like my family’s and this place truly delivered! They are from Erzeroum and the flavors are very similar to my Armenian family’s cuisine. We had manti which was pillowy soft and delicious. Lahmacun is a generous portion and it was really juicy and so good. My husband had the soujuk pide and it was super cheesy and yummy. For dessert I highly recommend the knefe which made for satisfying cheese-pulls and is the perfect combination of sweet and savory. Pairs perfectly with Turkish coffee and tea.

We really wanted to enjoy our visit to Ayasofya Turkish Restaurant and support a local business, but unfortunately our experience fell short.
The food was very underwhelming overall. We found most dishes to be quite plain and lacking the rich flavors we were expecting from Turkish cuisine. The dessert, in particular, was disappointing to the point where we couldn’t finish it.
On top of that, the total came out to around $68, which felt high given the quality of the meal we received.
That said, we do appreciate small businesses and understand that off days can happen. We hope this feedback is taken constructively, as we’d love to see improvements that better reflect the potential of the cuisine.
