  Neat little place in what feels like the middle of nowhere. Good sized menu, and lots of drink specials.

  Made a reservation for 7 online. When we got there they didn't have it marked down. Showed the email confirmation to the hostess who told me it's better to call and make the reservation. What's the point of going to your website then? They did get a seated within 10 minutes. Had chicken and ribs. Chicken was so over cooked meal wasn't great.

  We've always had an excellent food at the Up North Lodge, except this time. We took my sister and our brother-in-law out for her birthday on Sunday for the new breakfast buffet. We were very disappointed. Hash browns were cold and hard as rocks, asked if they could get new hash browns on the line, none was brought out the whole time we we there, pancakes were gooey inside, French toast was also hard and couldn't cut through it with your knife. Eggs were runny, almost tasted like powdered eggs. Bacon was under cooked so greasy that couldn't chew it. Sausages were good and cooked though. You could hear other guest talking about the food also. No atmosphere what so ever. Very dissatisfied with your new breakfast buffet .

  I have a shellfish allergy. My husbands food was lukewarm because it took so long to make mine. I told the server I’m allergic to shellfish, and I ordered the sweet potato puff. When it came I didn’t realize that it was fried so when I saw it, I asked if it was fried in the same oil as shellfish. She said no, it is just fried in the same oil as shrimp. I said, I can’t eat it. She took it away and charged me for it. We ordered Moscow Mule drinks with Tito’s Vodka and they were very good. When we ordered another drink, she gave us rail Vodka because we didn’t ask for Tito’s. They were not good. Lastly, the salad. There are 2 carrot slices and 1 cucumber slice and 1 cherry tomato and a whole lot of lettuce. So disappointing. We have owned our place since 1990 and we are disappointed with the food. The ribs are good, everything else is so so. If the food was better, we would eat here more often.
