- JJJJSSep 19, 20264.0They have lots of great food. The ribs are the best. We are locals that live on Big Shag Lake. I was really disappointed in the Poutine they served me one night. Not really Canadian poutine. Poutine is simply, French fries, cheese curds (not deep fried) mixed with French fries, and savory gravy. I left over 3/4 of it. We go to Canada all the time and get poutine. But other than that we normally always have great food.
