  Pietro’s has been a family favorite for as long as I can remember. The servers are absolutely amazing, and the food is always top notch. Easiest 5 stars I’ve ever reviewed!

  We had a great waitress and it was a nice place. My family's food was great. I ordered the parmesan cursted sirloin steak. I asked for medium-rare. It came rare to blue in places. I sent it back, and they placed the same steak onto the grill and gave it back to me. It tasted like rubber, was somehow still cold (my vegetables were warmer than the steak), some places were well-done others were medium, and nothing was done to remedy the situation other than passing a message to the chef that it tasted disgusting. The waiter said that it was a new steak, but I saw where I had cut into it previously. We still paid the $28 for it. I didn't eat the steak, and am still hungry. It was such a disappointment, because I know they can do better. If this had been my first time coming here, I wouldn't come again. Do better.

  Love this place. Grew up here in Grand Rapids and returned for a visit and ate at Pietros. It's been here as long as i can remember but forgot about it until I saw it. So glad we went back in to eat here. It's probably been 35-40 years. The atmosphere grabs you as soon as you enter. Lots of character and not just the typical decorations you see now. Loved it, very cozy. Our waitress was super outgoing and very knowledgeable. She helped us choose our dishes. We had the asparagus nuggets for an appetizer which were great, but made outstanding with the sauce it came with. Super yummy. We had a though time deciding on what to order. Big menu with lots of wonderful dishes, too many sounded good. Ended up with the Fettuccine Michael and the Chicken Paisano, both were delicious. Also got the soup bar. The house made chowder was excellent as was the bread and oil they serve with the meals. Outstanding. Don't miss this place.

  Pietro's is consistently excellent! The Italian food is delicious whatever you order. Pietro's is the only restaurant I'm aware of today that the serves homemade warm rolls at no additional charge. If you get a table near enough to the kitchen, the aroma of their rolls is so nice! Service is always friendly and usually very good. Colleen is an outstanding server, personable, friendly to all, and very efficient.
