  I’m really disappointed with my experience at Panera Bread today. I waited over 35 minutes for a simple soup and salad, which is unacceptable for what should be a quick meal. There was no manager in sight to help address the delay, and the whole place seemed very understaffed and unorganized. I understand places get busy, but communication and basic customer service go a long way. This visit felt frustrating and poorly managed!! I hope improvements can be made. Based on other recent reviews it seems that management is extremely lacking at this location.

  I’ve been picking up orders from this Panera Bread location in downtown Grand Rapids for over a year, and the experience has consistently been terrible. 🚫 As a DoorDash driver, time is money—and this store clearly does not respect that. ⏰💸 Almost every single time, orders are delayed far beyond the pickup time. Recently, I accepted a $4 order thinking it would be quick, but I ended up waiting 35 minutes. 😡 This is not a one-time issue—it happens again and again. And it’s not just me—almost every driver I’ve spoken to faces the same problem at this location. 🚗💬 Everyone is frustrated with the constant delays. The store is always busy, but that’s not an excuse—it’s poor management. 📉 They clearly don’t have enough staff to handle both in-store customers and online orders. There should be more employees dedicated specifically to delivery and pickup orders. 👥📦 The managers are responsible for this situation. They don’t know how to manage high order volume, and there’s no system, no urgency, and no respect for drivers’ time. ❌ Hire more staff or stop accepting so many online orders. ⚠️ Right now, this is easily one of the worst-run stores in downtown Grand Rapids. Very frustrating experience. I will avoid this location whenever possible. 👎

  Had a good wait, but staff were very accommodating and even gave everyone waiting a free cup to get a drink while they were waiting. They were very busy as it was lunch time and all the door dashers were there being rude

  I'm trying to enjoy a meal in these establishments and actually relax however, the bacon Mac and cheese, the bacon itself was overcooked.The cheddar broccoli soup was not in the bread bowl and half of the orders were messed up entirely. And there was a security guard there who consistently looked at me and my cohorts, thinking that we were homeless individuals when I indeed had the money to get it, don't go to this location if you're looking towards prejudice of the viewpoint. In fact, there was no bacon on the sandwiches in question. Just the skin of chicken displaying as bacon in the sandwich. Question, I would like my full money back in total, and I would like the people in responsible physicians except for the cashier. Who actually did a wonderful job communicating properly and was very personable.She was the only one who was willing to talk and understand us give that girl raise everyone else including the security guard removed or fired

  The worst place I’ve been to recently. I waited for over an hour for my food, which is ridiculous for a Panera. Save your time and money and go somewhere else. Very disappointed with the service here.
