Dairy Queen as a company, I have no problems with. This location needs some education on business. My daughter and her friends asked for ice cream kind of late, but it was a Saturday, and this location says they're open until 10pm. We got in line at 9:45. The girl working the cash register didn't seem to have a problem, but one of the other girls told her to stop taking order. We were next in line, it was 9:51, but they refused to take our order. The girl that shut things down said that they were closing early because "it was busy tonight, and it is a mess back here." I'm sorry, but as a business owner, isn't this a good problem? If you're going to advertise that you're open until 10, be open until 10. Don't close early because you're a bunch of teenagers that have no integrity, and think that because the business closes at 10, that you should be leaving at 10. That's not how life works. If you don't want to work in a customer service industry, then find a new job. Your want to leave at "closing" is not realistic. If the franchise owner is only paying staff until 10 pm, then make the closing earlier so they have time to clean and stock, etc. for the next day, and don't alienate customers. Not a good look DQ!

Very poor customer service (rude). I have been a loyal customer for years and have always had a great experience. That was not the case today. I ordered a large strawberry shake and it was all liquid. When I told the young lady at the window she was very rude.
The experience was unpleasant and I usually enjoy it. Having polite and friendly customer service is more important than any remodel to the building.
