Never in my life have I received such horrible service.
I ordered my breakfast over the phone. My meal came with eggs, bacon, and hash browns. I ordered my eggs over medium. When I picked up my food and got back to my car, I realized they had given me scrambled eggs instead.
I went back inside to have the mistake corrected, and the manager, Mary Ann, refused to replace the eggs even though the restaurant made the error. Instead of taking responsibility, she made it seem like I was the one who had done something wrong. She never apologized once for the mistake.
The situation became so uncomfortable that another customer felt so bad for how I was being treated that he offered to pay for my replacement eggs himself. After he paid, I went to pick up the eggs, and Mary Ann claimed he hadn’t paid for them and still tried not to give them to me. She even chased me toward the door, making it seem like I had stolen three eggs when another customer had already paid for them because he witnessed how poorly I was being treated.
The entire experience was humiliating. I work hard for my money, and I left feeling like I was treated differently because of the color of my skin. I can’t say for certain why I was treated this way, but that’s how the experience made me feel. I asked to speak with the owner, who was there at the time, and Mary Ann refused to let me.
I’ve never felt so unwelcome at a restaurant. No customer should be embarrassed or accused over a mistake the restaurant made. I will never spend my money here again, and I encourage others to spend their money where they’re treated with respect. Unfortunately, I did not feel welcome at Dom’s Diner.

Yummy meatloaf. Yummy mashed potatoes and yummy gravy. A tad too salty like most Genesee county restaurants but this place is a step up on the food quality. Nice work. The older ladies were very pleasant and helpful on the phone. One younger lady I spoke with was dismissive and unhelpful When I asked for help finding an item on the DoorDash app "Can't you just Google it or something?". (This happened on the afternoon of July 13th 2026 around 3:30 or 4:00 p.m. ish). Well yes I could but I have you on the phone I was thinking how rude, restaurant staff should have their own restaurant on DoorDash so they can guide customers through finding those items as needed, it's not DoorDash's responsibility it's the restaurants responsibility to make sure the app jives with what they actually sell. This "It's not my job" attitude is a big part of what's wrong with the world. Yeah I know you're busy, and I'm hungry, we all have problems. Be helpful. Be respectful. And guess what, you'd sell more product because things would be efficient. For example, would you please consider adding macaroni and cheese to your restaurant on doordash so I could buy it, Not the loaded macaroni and cheese, the macaroni and cheese. It would also be nice to be able to add macaroni and cheese to the meatloaf dinner in addition to mashed potatoes. Not just one or the other. In my opinion the macaroni and cheese is almost perfect Just a little too salty for some reason, and the cheese has a bit of a weird flavor that I didn't care for, wondering if a lower sodium high quality block cheddar would do the trick as long as no additional salt is being added. Thank you.

Place an order around 8:20 food was done in reasonable time I ordered a corned beef with double meat side of sauerkraut American and Swiss also also a Paul Bunyan I thought the meal was pretty good this being one of the cleaner and also quality wise better Coney Islands in Flint they did lack in certain areas The corned beef was too salty It didn't have enough meat like I had ordered it to be but what wasn't the worse part it wasn't the fact that they forgot my fries no no no it was them placing my sandwich in a styrofoam container with no paper which made my sandwich soggy on one side and also contaminated it with whatever chemicals that are on Styrofoam hot food should not be served on styrofoam alone My wife's breakfast the Paul Bunyan also was serve on styrofoam no paper breakfast was good by the way outside of The other issues I respectable restaurant should always use proper precaution on containing and serving food I really enjoy this place but there is some areas they need some attention other than that enjoy the food that I could be savaged from the styrofoam contaminants and soggy bread enjoyed the rye bread on the corned beef sandwich classic should be served this way everywhere
