  We took a sample menu, and everything was delicious. Simple, but perfectly cooked and seasoned. The spicy tenders were really tender and just enough of a kick in the flavourful breading. The pizza was made with fresh ingredients, and the breadsticks were fresh made too. A family owned place you don't want to miss if you come to Fenton. We were staying at the comfort inn, you just need to cross the street to have simple, fresh, flavourful food, served with a smile that comes from the heart.

  Hippo’s always has the best food. The chicken is the highest quality and tastes so great. The pieces are so large. I can only eat one.

  Just finished my birthday meal. Tenders were great as usual. Kids always love the pizza. First time getting the ribs. HUGE slab. Fall off the bone tender. MOIST. can I say moist? Very messy. I was prepared with paper towel.

  My first time here today and WOW Awesome “The Works” pizza! The owners are so nice and kind and very social. Been hard to find a great pizza place since Johnnies went out of business years ago. THANKS for a new great pizza place to go in Fenton!

  First time ever walking into this restaurant. Ordered ahead of time for take out, but when my boyfriend and I arrived, we decided to stay and eat. Before even walking away from the counter after paying, John, the owner came out and talked to us like a neighbor. You can tell right away that he is very passionate about what he does and wants to make delicious food for the community; I am here to say he more than achieved that goal. We ordered the chicken sandwich and the club calzone. The portions were more than expected and so amazingly delicious. John even stopped by our table to ask how we liked our food. We will definitely be going back often to try everything on the menu!
