I'm giving this a 2-star review because some of the food was at least edible and the workers seemed nice. However, overall the food was not good and it was overpriced. I ordered a California Burrito (al pastor), 2 Quesadillas (chicken), 2 sides of rice, 2 sides of beans, and guacamole. It was over $70, and the burrito/quesadillas were not meals btw, which is why I ordered the sides of rice and beans.
Let's start with the decent, the burrito was ok (not great) but they got my order wrong, giving me steak instead of al pastor. It wasn't bad, but wasn't particularly good either 5/10. The quesadillas were also just ok. I'd give them 5/10.
Now onto the bad. The sides of beans and rice were not good. The beans are absolutely out of a can and not even doctored up. I'm also willing to bet that the rice is pre-packaged - like an Uncle Ben's steam bag. Both are bland, overly salty, and most likely pre-packaged, yet they charge $5 each. So, if you want to add a side of rice and a side of beans to your entree, that's an extra $10 per plate. So, for a meal, the Burrito and quesadillas comes out to about $23 each, which I consider very steep for pre-packaged sides and "ok" entrees. Lastly, the guacamole was salty and turning brown by the time I got home and the chips that came with it tasted like they were fried in dirty oil. The beans, rice, guacamole, and chips were all 1/10 for me.
It's unfortunate, because I had been looking forward to trying this place out, having passed it multiple times on my commute to work. However, after trying the food, I will not be back.
