  Holy Bowly is a great spot to pickup lunch that is a little out of the box. It’s a nice change from the coney joint or pizza. You have a lot of choices and can modify your bowl easily on there website. Add what you want and delete what you don’t want. They also have a selection of sandwiches and burgers so there is something for everyone and they even have breakfast bowls. There is no table service but there are tables that you can sit at and enjoy your meal.

  This is a cute little spot that was started by an NYC expat. Pro tip - their "holy" sauce is their take on the white sauce that you would get on an NYC bodega gyro platter. I got a teriyaki shrimp bowl over rice with sauteed and raw veggies. They initially forgot my broccoli, but once I checked the order and made them aware, they quickly remedied this oversight. The food is fresh and the price is fair, an easy recommend.

  Came in on grand opening day! There was free coffee and chai in the lobby, everyone was in good spirits, and I was welcomed in with a warm handshake and description of the fresh ingredients. The food was delicious, portions are huge (half bowl pictured), and I can't wait to return. I have already recommended it to my friends!

  I had hoped for a healthy option close to my new church. I ordered a bowl and didn’t add a protein. The jalepeno sauce is delicious but there was so much slathered on top along with the cheese and guacamole, that I could barely see or taste anything else. My bowl contained a WHOLE bunch of rice and very little of the other ingredients. Also, I noticed that most of the bowls come with rice and potatoes. With a disproportionate amount of starches (rice & potatoes) and the over abundance of sauce, this is not healthy eating! I would love to have seen a brown rice option. White rice is the worst grain there is… especially bad in a community where there are so many health issues like diabetes.
