  Stopped in on a slow Thursday night, the footfall on this street is way down due to the long running construction on these streets. I got a warm welcome and thoughtful attention, including indulging my curiosity about local distilleries. There wasn't any local whiskey on the shelf, but the gin selection included some nice samples. By far the highlight though was the Reuben sandwich. Generous portion of sliced locally produced beef, perfect cheese melt, and fresh crispy fries made my night. The ambiance is perfectly Detroit, vintage pressed tin ceiling, well worn wood throughout, stained glass touches. Clean and authentic, hasn't been gripped by the gentrification happening nearby, where generic national brands are moving in. Highly recommend!

  They accommodated a group of 28 for us on a Saturday afternoon at 5. The service was fantastic, she was serving our whole party plus customers in the bar area. The food came out and it was fantastic, everyone was happy with their food. Drinks were kept refilled and the service was absolutely top class. Highly recommend!

  We hosted our quarter 1 LitFinancial all company party here! Jenna was extremely helpful! I don't think I have ever worked with someone so responsive and on-top of things. Owen was also helpful with making sure we were set up prior with payments and ensured we had nothing left pending the day of the event. Thanks to Jenna, I did not have to worry one bit about everything being set. She even had a drafted up food selection for us to match how many people were attending. Highly recommend FireBird, especially for events. Food was delicious, atmosphere was great, and staff was a joy to be around.

  I had an amazing experience at Firebird Tavern! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with a perfect mix of modern style and cozy comfort. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure everything was just right throughout the visit. The food was outstanding—each dish was full of flavor and beautifully presented. You can really tell they use high-quality ingredients and put care into every plate. The drinks were also top-notch, with a great selection to choose from. Overall, Firebird Tavern is a fantastic spot whether you're going out with friends or just looking for a great meal. I’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend!
