  Frequent this place a lot and usually the food is awesome. The employees are awesome too. But today I experienced a worker at this chipotle they may have been new, but they literally need to be retrained on how to make a burrito and how much ingredient to put on people stuff. I all I asked for was a little extra cheese and literally there might be seven little pieces of cheese on my burrito because the girl was literally using two fingers to pinch the tiniest amount and yeah, that’s not how that’s supposed to work. I will Encourage my coworkers to skip this Chipotle location because they literally cannot give you cheese for your burrito

  The people that work the pickup window are genuinely horrible at portions, it’s borderline offensive how different the portions are between going in and building a bowl or ordering one online. Their attitudes are horrible and they’re always cussing eachother out.

  Food is good... when you can get some!! On several different occasions, we waited in line for 30+ minutes only to be told they are out of EVERYTHING... in the middle of the day! Disappointing.

  ⭐️ 1 STAR — EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING EXPERIENCE My experience at the Chipotle downtown Detroit location on Woodward was absolutely disappointing. I honestly don’t understand how a restaurant can have approximately 15 employees working inside and still have little to no food ready for customers. It was extremely frustrating and completely unacceptable. When I walked in, there was hardly any food prepared and nothing was ready to go. For a restaurant that is supposed to serve customers quickly, especially in a busy downtown location, I expected the basic menu items to actually be available and ready. Instead, customers were standing around waiting while employees were moving around, and there still wasn’t food available. What makes it even more frustrating is that there were about 15 employees working. With that many people in the restaurant, there should be absolutely no reason for customers to walk in and have to wait because the basic food items aren’t prepared. I completely understand if a restaurant gets unexpectedly busy, but when you have that many employees working, management should have the staff organized and making sure food is continuously being prepared. The customer service did not make the situation any better. Instead of feeling like the employees were trying to fix the issue or communicate with customers, the whole experience felt chaotic and poorly managed. Nobody should have to stand there wondering when their food is going to be available when they can clearly see a large number of employees working. I came in expecting a quick and simple meal, and instead I left frustrated. How do you have 15 people working and still have no food ready? That is a management and organization problem. If the restaurant knows it is located downtown and gets a steady amount of customers, then the team should be prepared for that. Food should be stocked and prepared, employees should know their responsibilities, and customers should not have to suffer because the restaurant isn’t properly organized. I paid for an experience that should have been simple, and unfortunately, it was anything but that. The entire situation made me question how this location is being managed. I hope corporate and management actually take a serious look at this location because there is clearly room for improvement. Having a large staff does not mean much if customers are still waiting around with no food available. I definitely will think twice before coming back to this location. Downtown Detroit deserves better service, better organization, and better customer experiences. 1 star because I can’t give 0. Very disappointing.
