I recently had the chance to dine at Sheeba Restaurant in Dearborn, and it was honestly one of the best Middle Eastern dining experiences I’ve had in a while. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere feels warm and welcoming, with a traditional touch that really adds to the overall experience. It’s clean, well-decorated, and has a comfortable vibe whether you’re going with friends, family, or even just grabbing a meal on your own.
The food is where Sheeba really stands out. Everything tastes fresh, flavorful, and authentic. The portions are generous, so you definitely get your money’s worth. The lamb dishes are especially impressive—tender, well-seasoned, and cooked perfectly. Their rice is full of flavor, not plain at all, and pairs perfectly with the meat. If you like traditional Yemeni-style food, this place does it right. The bread comes out fresh and warm, which makes a big difference, and the sauces and sides add even more flavor to every bite.
Another thing I appreciated was the consistency. Every dish we ordered came out hot and well-prepared, and you can tell they care about quality. The menu has a good variety, so there’s something for everyone, whether you’re into meat-heavy dishes or lighter options.
The service was also great. The staff were friendly, respectful, and attentive without being overwhelming. They made sure everything was good and were quick to help with anything we needed. It felt like they genuinely cared about the customer experience.
On top of all that, the prices are very reasonable for the quality and portion sizes you get. It’s the kind of place where you leave full and satisfied without feeling like you overspent.
Overall, I highly recommend Sheeba Restaurant in Dearborn if you’re looking for authentic, delicious food, great service, and a comfortable atmosphere. It’s definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to.
I ordered a half chicken, but it arrived in this condition. It wasn’t just burnt on the outside—it was burnt inside as well. The chicken was extremely dry and completely inedible. Also, I ordered a Sprite bottle, but unfortunately I was given a small filled cup instead.
I was really excited to try this new restaurant, but unfortunately, it was a huge letdown. The service was slow, and the staff were not only disorganized but also downright rude-snapping at us when we asked for a simple refill.
When the food finally arrived, it was cold and bland. My Yemeni dish was overcooked, and the spices were barely there-no depth of flavor at all.
Even the dessert couldn't save the experience-my tiramisu was bland and slightly soggy. Sadly, I won't be returning.

Amazing Yemeni food and overall experience. The flavors were authentic and rich—the lamb was incredibly tender and perfectly seasoned, and the rice was fresh and aromatic. The hummus was smooth with great flavor, and everything tasted high quality.
The portions are generous, and you can tell they put care into every dish. Service was friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere felt comfortable and relaxed.
Definitely one of the best Yemeni spots I’ve tried. I’ll 100% be coming back.
